The rockets take astronauts and man-made satellites into

space. The satellites are used for communication, weather

monitoring and research. But how do satellites stay up without

falling down?

There are two opposite forces (力量) acting on the satellite.

Have you heard about “Survival Holidays”? It is for children to

go into the lonely place for exciting activities. Now about 1,100

companies are allowed to take children into the great outdoors

without their parents.

The reason why people like “Survival Holidays” is that they

think being close to nature is good for children. Many children in big

Last Friday a storm swept through two villages in the New Territories, destroying fourteen homes. Seven others were so badly damaged (破坏) that their owners had to leave them, and fifteen others had broken windows or broken roofs.
