Hello,it’s my pleasure to be the representative of our group. Today our group’s topic is traits I’ve inherited from my family.It goes without saying that “Like father, like son”. The sons and daughters are similar to their parents to some extent. As the genetic inheritance researches show,the opinions that either father’s genes or mother’s genes play a more important role in children’s growth vary from person to person. Some firmly believe that children will often inherit their mother’s appearance and their father’s characteristic. Others hold the opposite idea, arguing that it depends on the specific circumstances. I prefer the second idea. For as long as I can remember, my father told a story to me every night before I went asleep when I was 2 to 6 years old. It really laid a solid foundation to the development of my imagination at that time. But he was out of home on a business trip when I was 8 to 16,and he seldom came home. During this period, my mother’s patience, diligence and perseverance have infected me gradually. Could I say that I’ve inherited the personalities and abilities from both of my parents? Of course I could! So does my appearance. I have neat facial features and a medium build exactly alike my parents. Most people say that I am the complex of my parents.
