The Mayan (玛雅的)Indians lived in Mexico for thousands of years before the Spanish arrived in the 1500s. The Mayan achievements were many. The Mayan priests studied the Sun. Moon, stars, and planets. They made a calendar from what they learned. The year was divided into 18 months of 20 days each with five days left over. The Mayan calendar was far more exact than the European calendars of the time.

Frighting fires has always been a dangerous job. The job has grown even more risky in recent years. That’s because changes in building over the last 30 years have resulted in hotter fires that are more unpredictable. Today’s buildings use many more synthetic materials than those built 30 years ago did. As a result, when they catch fire, they burn at a much higher temperature and give off much more energy than their older counterparts do. Why are the British and the Swedes more successful at protecting their firefighters? Some within the fi refighting community believe it’s because both countries use a procedure called"3-D Firefighting. "

Supporters of the technique claim that it greatly reduces the likelihood of an extreme fire behavior. Some disadvantages were that during the songs, some of the the lyrics were hard to understand. Unless you looked up the lyrics to the songs, you had no idea what some of the words were. Also with the 3D glasses on the color was somewhat dulled. The color is more vivid when watched n its original format. There were a few characters that seemed undeveloped fully. Simba’s mother, Sarabi, did not have that big of a part in the film. As the mother of the Prince and Queen of the King there should have been more scenes with Sarabi.
I personally enjoyed The Lion King as a whole.Apart from the unclear lyrics and dulled color, I loved every single aspect of the movie.I believe it has a great lesson to teach all of its viewers, young and old. People are able to take what is put in the movie and can apply it to their own lives. In my opinion, The Lion King is one of the best films Disney has ever produced.
