relaxed 和relaxing在用法上有什么区别

relaxing 意为“令人放松的”，一般修饰物；

relaxed意为“感到放松的”，一般修饰人。

例如：

Music is relaxing. 音乐是令人放松的。

I am relaxed on weekends. 我周末感到放松。

relaxed smile=（她自己感到）轻松的笑容（身临其境）

relaxing smile=（让别人感到）轻松的笑容(局外人)

但是，relaxed adj.

variety various vary varied 的区别

1. vary是动词，兼有及物动词和不及物动词的用法。

1）vary做不及物动词居多，意思是“不同/相异；变化/变异；违背/偏离”。

2）vary也可做及物动词，意思是“使不同；改变/变更；修改”。

2. variety是名词，意思是“品种/种类；种种/各种；变化/多样化；变种”。

4. varied也是形容词，意思是“各种各样的；各不相同的；形形色色的；多变的/变化的/不同的”。

他们都是“vary”(使变化,改变,偏离)这个单词变化来的

5. 这里主要是区别两个形容词：varied表示“一类中不同的/多变的”；而various表示“不同种类的”。

在表示"各种各样，各不相同的"意思时，一般可以换用，只是前者侧重于"不同"的含义，后者则侧重于种类数目的"多"。

3 Various people declared they had seen the lost child, but few could give a definite description of him. 很多人自称看见了那个失踪的孩子，但很少人能说清楚他的样子。（此句various"多"的数目概念更显然，不可用varied代替）
