宾语从句

定义:在复合句中充当宾语的句子叫宾语从句,作用跟名词在句中的作用相同

考点:

一、语序: 从句的语序必须是陈述句语序, 即“主语+ 谓语”这种形式。

二、时态: 当主句是一般现在时或一般将来时的时候, 从句可以是任何时态, 而当主句是一般过去时的时候, 从句时态必须是过去时范围的时态, 即(一般过去时, 过去进行时, 过去完成时, 过去将来时)。

三、连接词

1.常接that从句作宾语的动词有see, say, know, imagine, discover, believe, tell, show, think, consider等。在可以接复合宾语的动词之后,如think,make,consider,appreciate等,可以用it作形式宾语。That 无意义,可省略,不做成分

He says that he loves me.

We consider it necessary that he should improve his pronunciation.

He has made it clear that he will not give in.

You may depend on it that I shall always help you.

2.whether/if引导“是否“

1)从句不能用否定

I don’t care whether he doesn’t come. ( X )

2)if不与or not 连用

I don’t care whether/if he comes or not.

I don’t care whether or not he comes.

I don’t care if or not he comes. ( X )

3)whether后面可加不定式

I don’t know whether to go there.

4)介词后用whether,不用if

It depends on whether you can do the work well.

Whether功能多,尽量用whether

3.以特殊疑问词where,who,how,why等引导的从句

1)能接特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句动词有see, tell, ask, know, decide, imagine, suggest, doubt, wonder,show,discuss,understand,inform,advise等

I can’t imagine how he did it.

They couldn’t understand why I refused it.

2)作介词宾语

It all depends on how we solve the problem.

We are worrying about what we should do next.

4.以what或wh-ever等引导的宾语从句,what=the thing(s) which/that,有时what可用作前置定语,如what help,what funny stories等。whatever = anything that(whichever和whatever

也可作定语),此外,whoever=anyone who;whichever=anyone who/anything that(whichever 也可指人)

The charity will give whoever ( = anyone who) needs help.

I can judge by what ( = the things that ) I know of him.

He will go wherever the girl wants to go.

She gives whatever her little son wants.

另:宾语补足语
