The more people I meet, the more I love my dog. Every day I am reminded why I love him so much.
Three weeks before Christmas in 2008 at about 2:00 in the morning, my dog woke us up out of a sound sleep because someone was knocking at our door. He barked in front of me as if to protect me from the stranger who was knocking. My husband answered, and it was a local police officer telling us that my father-in-law had called the police because he forgot our number. My mother-in-law was suffering from a brain disease and was in the hospital. We thanked the officer and raced to the hospital. We would have taken him, but the hospital would consider him to be a dirty pet.
After visiting the hospital we drove home and hugged our dog once more. At this point it was unlikely that little dog remembered waking us up. What he did remember was that we left him alone for several hours and he missed us. He thought we missed him, too, so he greeted us at the door with his tail wagging (摇摆).
Someone tried to break in our house that summer, but, once again, our little dog saved the day. Our curtains were damaged, but no one got in. When I got home from work, I found parts of my curtains lying on the floor. We called the police and the officer said that he did a great job.
My dog is a loving sweet dog who just wants some attention. I worked with him for months and now he sits, dances, sings, shakes hands, and so much more. The best part is he looks out for me as much as I look out for him.
My husband says the dog is spoiled (宠坏的); I say he finally has a loving home.

Levi Strauss did not invent jeans, but he is considered the first person to make and sell great numbers of them. He was born in Bavaria, an area that is part of Germany. In 1847 he and his family moved to the United States.
Levi Strauss opened a small dry goods store, first in New York, then in San Francisco, California. Among the products he sold were jeans. These pants were especially useful for miners in California. They needed clothing made from a strong material. Jeans are usually made from a heavy cotton cloth called denim.
Levi Strauss partnered with a clothing maker named Jacob Davis. Davis had invented a process for making rivets (铆钉) for jeans. These little metal connectors helped hold the pieces of cloth together to make the jeans stronger.
In 1875, the government gave Strauss and Davis a patent (专利) for their invention. That meant no one else could legally copy it without their permission. In 1928 the Levi Strauss company registered (注册) the word “Levi’s” as a trademark for their product.
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington has one of the oldest known pairs of Levi’s.
Writer James Sullivan published a book called “Jeans: A Cultural History of an American Icon.” In the book, he says jeans show two American values, creativity and rebellion.
Cowboys wore jeans in the old Wild West. In the 1950s, people saw famous Hollywood actors like James Dean and Marlon Brando wearing jeans in movies.

Having parked near the car wash beside the supermarket, I came away to wait for my wife to come from work. Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would consider a bum (流浪汉). From the looks of him, he had no car, no home, no clean clothes, and no money. There are times when you feel generous but there are other times that you just don’t want to be bothered (打扰). This was one of those “don’t want to be bothered times.”
“I hope he doesn’t ask me for any money,” I thought. He didn’t. He cam e and sat on the seat by the bus stop but he didn’t look like he could have enough money to even ride the bus. After a few minutes he spoke, “That’s a very pretty car”. He was ragged (衣着破旧的) but he had an air of dignity (尊严) around him. I said, “thanks,” w ithout taking a look at him.
He sat there quietly for a moment. The expected begging for money never came. As the silence between us widened something inside said, “Ask him if he needs any help.” I was sure that he would say “yes”. So I asked, “Do you need any help?”
He answered in three simple words that I shall never forget. The three words shook me. “Don’t we all?” he said.
I was feeling successful and important, above a bum in the street, until those three words hit me. Don’t we all? I needed help. May be not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I needed help. I reached in my wallet and gave him not only enough for bus fare, but enough to get a warm meal and shelter for the day. Those three little words still ring true. No matter how much you have, you need help too. However, no matter how little you have, you can give help too.

云南师范大学周转房管理办法 第一条为进一步加强和规范学校周转房管理，提高周转房使用效率，有效解决学校新进教职工、无房教职工入校后过渡期的住房困难问题，根据国家和云南省关于事业单位住房制度改革的有关规定及文件精神，结合学校实际，制定本办法。 第二条周转房是学校提供给需要临时居住的教职工，以及学校各部门因工作需要用于短期周转使用的住房，是产权属于学校所有的配套房、公寓、教职工集体宿舍以及学校指定作为周转用途的公用房。 第三条周转房的管理使用遵循“公平公开、有偿使用、统一管理、严格监督”原则。优先保障校内教职工临时周转用房需求。 第四条周转房的使用费按使用面积（建筑面积）计收，收费标准三年一定，由资产处、监审处、资产经营有限责任公司（以下简称为资产公司）综合考虑周转房所在区域市场价格、房屋状况等因素，对使用费进行评估，提出收费标准建议，提交校长办公会审议并上网公布后实施。 第五条在优先满足本校青年教职工临时周转用房需求及部门业务用房需求的基础上，如有空余房源，可向校内外其它人员出租。

云南师范大学校园网络系统安全管理制度 （讨论稿） 第一章总则 第一条为了保护云南师范大学大学校园网络系统的安全、促进学校计算机网络的应用和发展、保证校园网络的正常运行和网络用户的使用权益，制定本安全管理制度。 第二条本管理制度所称的校园网络系统，是指由学校投资购买、由网络与信息中心负责维护和管理的校园网络主、辅节点设备、配套的网络线缆设施及网络服务器、工作站 所构成的、为校园网络应用及服务的硬件、软件的集成系统。 第三条校园网系统的安全运行和系统设备管理维护工作由网络与信息中心负责，网络与信息中心可以委托相关单位指定人员代为管理子节点设备。任何单位和个人，未经校 园网负责单位同意、不得擅自安装、拆卸或改变网络设备。 第四条任何单位和个人、不得利用联网计算机从事危害校园网及本地局域网服务器、工作站的活动，不得危害或侵入未授权的（包括CERNET或其它互联网在内的）服务 器、工作站。 第二章安全保护运行 第五条除校园网负责单位，其他单位或个人不得以任何方式试图登陆进入校园网主、辅节点、服务器等设备进行修改、设置、删除等操作；任何单位和个人不得以任何借口 盗窃、破坏网络设施，这些行为被视为对校园网安全运行的破坏行为。 第六条校园网中对外发布信息的WWW服务器中的内容必须经各单位领导审核，由单位负责人签署意见后，交学校网络安全领导小组(设在党委宣传部办公室)审核备案后， 由网络与信息中心从技术上开通其对外的信息服务。 第七条校园网各类服务器中开设的帐户和口令为个人用户所拥有；单位开设的账户，谁开户谁负责；网络与信息中心对用户口令保密，不得向任何单位和个人提供这些信息。第八条网络使用者不得利用各种网络设备或软件技术从事用户帐户及口令的侦听、盗用活动，该活动被认为是对网络用户权益的侵犯。 第九条校园内从事施工、建设，不得危害计算机网络系统的安全。 第十条校园网主、辅节点设备及服务器等发生案件、以及遭到黑客攻击后，校园网负责单位必须在二十四小时内向校保卫部门及公安机关报告。 第十一条严禁在校园网上使用来历不明、引发病毒传染的软件；对于来历不明的可能引起计算机病毒的软件应使用公安部门推荐的杀毒软件检查、杀毒。 第十二条任何单位和个人不得在校园网及其联网计算机上传送危害国家安全的信息(包括多媒体信息)、录阅传送淫秽、色情资料。 第十三条校园网及子网的系统软件、应用软件及信息数据要实施保密措施。信息资源保密等级可分为：（１）可向Internet公开的；（２）可向校内公开的；（３）可向本 系（单位）公开的；（４）可向有关单位或个人公开的；（５）仅限于本单位内使 用的；（６）仅限于个人使用的。 第十四条网络使用部门和单位如学校公共机房，必须对所有联网计算机及上网人员要及时、准确登记备案。多人共用计算机上网的各级行政单位、教学业务单位上网计算机
