Unit 1 This is me!

Part 1: T eaching design (第一部分:教学设计) Unit goals

●Use everyday expressions to communicate when meeting people.

●Introduce yourself to others.

●Use the simple present tense.

●Use model sentences to write a profile of yourself.

Period 1 Comic strip & Welcome to the unit

T eaching procedures

Step 1 Warming up

First, introduce yourself to students. Say Good morning / afternoon. I?m Mr./ Mrs./ Miss/ Ms…Explain that …Mr.? is used for both single and married men, …Mrs.? is used for married women only and …Miss? is for single women only. …Ms.? is used for both married and single women.

Step 2 Presenting

Bring a toy dog to the class and show it to the class and say: I have a toy dog. I?m the master of the toy dog. Write the word master on the Bb. Ask the Ss to read the word after the teachers. Then practice the word like this:

(Hold a book and say) I have a book. I?m the master of the book.

T: I have a ruler. S: I?m the master of the ruler.

T: I have a pen. S: I?m …

T: He has a pencil. S: He is …

T: She has a kni fe. S: She is …

We have so many school things we must look after very well. Write the phrase look after on the Bb. Say Our parents look after us very well. Let Ss guess the meaning of …look after? and ask more able students to make up more sentences with the phrase.

Step 3 Listening

(Books closed) Ask Ss to listen to the tape of the comic strip with one question … Who is Eddie?? ( He?s the master.) (Books open) Listen again. After listening, ask more questions: Who is Hobo? ( He is the e –dog.) What?s in Hobo?s hands? ( A book.) What does the book say? ( How to look after your e-dog.) Does Eddie like Hobo? How do you know?

Step 4 Doing activities

First, read the dialogue after the tape. Then , read together. At last, act it out. Ss can add anything to the dialogue to make it more interesting.

Step 5 Presenting

Demonstrate a conversation with a student, for example:

T: Good morning. I?m … What?s your name?

S: I?m…/ My name is …

T: Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you, too.

Ask Ss to make their own conversations after the model. Then ask several pairs to act out their conversations to the class.

Say to Ss: Today we are going to meet six new friends from Beijing Sunshine Secondary School. Ask Ss to look at the students in Part A and identify them by name. Say What are their names? Can you tell the names of boys and the girls?

Step 6 Doing activities

Ask Ss to read the conversation. Read the sentences one at a time. Ask Ss to repeat after you, imitating your pronunciation and intonation. Then choose six students to read.

Step 7 Presenting

Now, please tell me what you will say to your new friends at the following time. First let us get to know about the different time. Write the following time on the Bb:

At different time of the day, people greet each other differently. Now let see if you can greet your friends correctly.

Step 1 Making a revision

Last time, we met six new friends. Do you remember their names? Where do they come from? (They come from Beijing Sunshine Secondary School.) Do you want to know more about them? Step 2 Presenting

Before we get to know about them, let me ask you some questions. How old are you? Are you tall or short? Where do you come from? Where do you live? What class are you in? What do you love?

1. Read the text. Ask Ss to repeat after you or the tape, pay attention to students? pronunciation and intonation. Then choose six students to read it out.

2. Ask Ss to choose one of the six students to say something about them.

Step 6 Having a summary

Today we met and got to know six new students. Each of them is lovely, do you think so? But who do you like best? Why? (Have a discussion.)

Step 7 Doing homework

1.Read the text aloud and try to recite it if possible.

2.Write a easy profile according to the text (5 sentences are enough).

Step 1 Making a revision

( Show the pictures of the six students) Ask: Do you know them? Who are they? Can you say something about them? ( Ask Ss to say as much as they can.)

3. Read the second paragraph and revise the following expressions:

1.Fill in the blanks with the right form of …to be?:

Read the sentences together.

Ask: What?s the difference between the two sentences? ( We must use verb form for the simple present tense in the third person singular.) But how to change the verb form. Let?s go through the table on page 10.

Step 1 Presenting

(Show a picture of the famous football player Beckham to students.) Do you know him? Y es, he is David Beckham, a good football player. Where was he born? He was born in London. What is he good at? He is good at playing football. He scores goals in most matches. He plays for Real Madrid (皇家马德里队). He wants to play football in the next World Cup.

(Write …player, play for, score, goal, the next World Cup? on the Bb, and ask Ss to explain their meanings.)

Step 2 Doing activities

1.Ask Ss to look at the headline of the newspaper article and the picture. Ask the following questions: 1) Who is he? (He?s Li Hua.) 2) What is he? (He is a football player.) 3) What team does he play for? (He plays for Huanghe Football Team.) 4) What is he good at? (He is good at scoring goals.) 5) What does he want? (He wants to play football in the next World Cup.)

2.Read the article together.

3.Say: Do you know how old Li Hua is? Do you know where he was born? Do you know how he looks? Do you know what his hobbies are? If your answers are …No?, please listen to the tape. After listening, you will know the answers.

5.Ask Ss to use the article and the notes to finish Part A3. Check the answer with the whole

Step 4 Doing activities

浅谈情境教学法在思想政治课中的运用 思想政治课的理论知识多,而且较抽象,学生理解起来有一定难度。因此思想政治课一直以来被学生认为是最枯燥、难学的一门学科。怎样才能激发学生的学习兴趣?如何使学生愿学、爱学、乐学、会学?如何优化思想政治课的教学方法,提高教学效率?这是每个政治教师都应积极思考的问题。 新课程改革要求教师转变教育、教学理念,倡导学生主动参与,乐于探索,充分发挥学生在课堂上的主体地位,注重培养学生的实践能力、自主、合作精神和适应社会生活的能力。为达到这样的教学目标,教师必须运用恰当的科学的教学方法。 情境教学法就是要在教学中引起学生积极的、健康的情绪体验,直接提高学生对学习的积极性,使学习活动成为学生主动进行的、快乐的事情。它是指在教学过程中,教师运用多种形式和手段,有目的地引入或创设具有一定情感色彩的、形象生动的具体场景,以引起学生一定的情感体验,从而有效地帮助学生理解教材,并学会运用教材知识解决实际问题,使学生的思想、智力、心理得到发展的教学方法。近几年,我在教学实践中尝试进行情境教学法,下面结合自己的教学实践就情境教学法的实施及效果谈几点看法。 1 创设情境的几种形式 1.1用语言描述情境。学生天生爱听故事,根据这一心理特点,在课堂上巧妙运用历史、地理、人物等故事来创设故事情境,既可以活跃课堂气氛,又可以激发学生的学习兴趣,开拓学生思维。如在进行.《意识能够正确反映客观事物》的教学时,我给学生讲了一个趣味故事—《关于一只鸡死亡的问题》。 故事是这样的,在一个阳光明媚的早上,农场的一只鸡不幸被一辆卡车轧死,由此引来了以下的对话。“ 农夫:哪个家伙把我家的鸡轧死了! 农妇:自认倒霉吧,今晚就把这只鸡煮了吃。 动物保护人员:我们一定会为它举行一个隆重的葬礼。 兽医:这我也无能为力。 这件事传到了校园里,闹得沸沸扬扬。 语文老师:同学们,一只可爱的公鸡告别了这个美丽的世界,请同学们为这件事写一篇文章,歌颂这只鸡的事迹,指责肇事者的无耻,字数不少于800字。 数学老师:其实这件事本是可以避免的,请同学们用概率统计的方法,计算出这只鸡有百分之几的概率可存活?分几种情况讨论。 英语老师:Oh!My god!I am sorry to hear that!请同学们用被动语态叙述一下这件事,记住,要用过去时.。 学生一听议论纷纷,于是我趁机给学生介绍影响人们能否正确反映客观事物的因素。从而使学生自己归纳出“意识能够正确反映客观事物,不等于说人们对同一事物的反映所产生的意识都是一样的。同样是正确的意识,也会由于人们的立场、知识构成、思维方法不同而有所不同,正所谓仁者见仁,智者见智。”这一哲理,让学生在听故事中理解了知识,真正做了愉快教学。 1.2用音乐演染情境。在教学中适时引入歌曲,把教材内容与歌曲融合起来,可引起学生的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的情感体验,从而增强思想政治教育的时代感和吸引力、感染力,提高教育的针对性、主动性和实效性。如在进行《我国是统一的多民族国家》的教学时,我将歌曲《爱我中华》欢快的歌声引入课堂,让学生欣赏歌曲,并对歌曲品位、解读,提出问题,探究思考,从中提取基本观点。让学生在愉悦的气氛中,认识到我国有56个兄

谈英语情景教学中“六法”的应用 情境教学法的理论与实践的突破口是“情境”的创设,而情境教学法中创设的“情境”,我以为实质上理应是优化了的环境,是促使学生能动地活动于其中的环境。情境教学不是为创设情境而创设情境,而是力图将人的主动参与、主动发展置于核心地位,通过创设符合学生多方面发展需要的、充满美感和智慧的环境、氛围,促使学生在现实环境和主体活动的交互作用中,使学生的情感、心理发生共鸣,从而,获得生动活泼、主动、和谐的发展。从而,获得生动活泼、主动、和谐的发展。因为情境的创设立足于学生的活动需要,具有主体明确、情感伴随、自主等鲜明特点,因而它极易使学生全身心地沉浸其中。通过自身的感悟、操作、体验、探究、发现,得到充分的主动的发展。 下面我就自己在教学研究过程中的摸索和尝试谈谈如何创设情境。 1、音乐欣赏、渲染情境 美妙的音乐常令人心旷神怡,其旋律、音韵、节奏常把人带进特有的意境中。如课前集体哼唱英语歌,像字母歌、元音字母歌、数字歌与英语歌曲,还有后期教学中要学习的家中作客、过生日、游戏活动、起睡等功能项目相关的歌曲。由此可调整学生积极学习的心态,为其上课作好准备。同时,我还依据学生熟悉的调子编歌填词,费时较少,收效甚多。比如:初一教be动词的用法时,我这样编,我(I)是am,你(you)是are,is跟着他(he)她(she)它(it)。单数名词用is,复数名词全用are。复疑问往前提,句末问号莫忘掉。变否更容易,后加not就能够。疑问句、否定句,句首大写莫迟疑。在学习动物名称时,能够先将小动物的声音录制下来,让学生模仿动物的声音和样子来学。例如,cat,cat,喵喵喵;dog,dog,汪汪汪,……这样,学生就会很有兴致,有的装成猴子、有的扮成小狗……。再难的词在学生口中变得流利起来,枯燥的单词很快被学生记住。也可采用听音辨动物的方法,如在教学tiger.elephant.pig......等动物名称,先让学生分别听动物的叫声,猜是哪一种动物,大家纷纷举手,猜对后再引出一个个新单词,学生们对此感到特别兴奋,学生的兴趣达到了高潮,几乎全班都举起了手,争先恐后地回答。整堂课气氛活跃,学生在轻松的语境中掌握了知识,活用了英语句子。这种聆听声音,创造情境的方法也能够用在学习交通工具上,如car,bus,train等,把它们的声音录制下来,听了以后猜是哪种交通工具,,引出要教的内容,这样能极大地调动学生上课的学习积极性。 这既增强了学生对知识的巩固和理解,触动学生的参与意识,又增强了学生学习英语的信心,避免了枯燥乏味的教学。当前,课外欣赏外文歌曲已成热潮。 2、语言描述、贴近情境 教师课内应恰当并广泛地使用课堂用语(少用母语),带动学生学会用英语思索答疑。教学中使用语言手段创设情境的方式较多,使用相当广泛。 设置问题情境,拓展学生思维。创设问题情境就是向学生提出具体目标,激发思维的火花,使学生处于积极活跃的思维状态,从而变知识接受为知识吸取,优化教学过程,增强教学效果。所以,教师应设计具有启发性、迁移性和求异性的问题,鼓励学生全方位、多角度地思考,培养其发散思维水平。
