上个星期，我家的老母鸡孵出了五只小鸡。

小鸡身披一身毛茸茸的绒毛，黄黄的，走起路来像妈妈的毛线球在滚动，

可爱极了。小鸡整天跟在老母鸡的后面，像跟屁虫似的。

我把消息告诉了同桌毛佳佳，好朋友马小龙，李小明，他们约好星期六一

起来我家看小鸡。

星期六到了，他们如约而至。小鸡们正在跟着老母鸡在院子里到处转悠呢。

我们围了过去。老母鸡从来没有看到这么多陌生人，它变得警惕起来了。

它先是gogo地叫了几下，像是对小鸡说些什么，然后让小鸡紧紧地跟在后面。

毛佳佳说:“我们抓几个放在牛奶盒子里面玩玩，好吗?”

我们一致同意。

“可小鸡有老母鸡的保护，怎么办呢?”我说。

“你去抓一把米，把老母鸡引开，然后我们抓小鸡。”李小明说。

我把米放在离它们较远的地方，一边放一边叫:“哆哆哆，来吃饭。”

老母鸡听到了，就跑了过来。小鸡跑得慢，在后面。

我就向小伙伴们使了个眼色。示意可以捉了，他们三个围了一个圈，包围

向小鸡。眼看快要捉到的时候，没想到老母鸡杀了个回马枪。他们连忙停止抓

一个劲地叫，我看着它焦急的样子，心软了。就把小鸡们放到了老母鸡的身边。老母鸡高兴叫了几声，小鸡们也围着老母鸡“唧唧唧唧”地直叫，高兴得又是蹦又是跳。

真没想到鸡妈妈这么爱自己的儿女，使我体会到了母爱的伟大!
