阅读下面的短文,然后按照要求写一篇150词左右的英语短文。

Three Umbrellas

Sally was a college student in London. She wanted to buy her mother a nice and usef ul birthday present, but not too expensive.

One day after a quick and simple lun ch, she went shopping. Having looked for half an hour, she came across a shop selling umbrellas at a good price. So she decided to take one.

She thought, “Mom can carry it when she is wearing clothes of any color.” Then s he bought a lovely black umbrella and took it to school with her until her class finished.

On her way home in the train that evening she felt hungry, so she went to the buffet car. She left the black umbrella above her seat. But when she got back, she found it was gone!

Sally burst into tears. The other passengers felt very sorry for her and asked what was wrong. When she explained the black umbrella she had bought for her mother had disappeared, and that she had to get off at the next station, the thr ee other passengers asked her for her mother’s address so that they could send the umbrella to her in case someone returned it after Sally got off the train.

The next week, Sally got a letter from her mother saying “Thank you very much for your lovely pres ents, but why did you send me three black umbrellas?”

Sally, a college student, bought her mother an umbrella as a birthday present but lost it in the train. Moved by her kindness and respect for her mother, some passengers in the train later sent her mother three umbrellas.

Sally loved her moth er and remembered her mother’s birthday. As a 17-year-old girl, I love my mother very much as well. I send my mother flowers on Mother’s Day. Last year, on mother’s 45th birthday, I bought my mother a very good comb from store. When I showed it to my mother and told her it was good for her health to comb her hair often, she burst into tears and then smiled to m y father and me. Never had I imagined that a simple gift would make her so moved.

Mother’s love is the most precious in the world. I think we ca n show our love for our mother by doing small things. What is most important is to our love every day.

It was difficult for me to reach out my hands for drinks or food. An old lady who was taking care of her husband in the room often came to my bedside to help me. Furthermore, she often told funny stories and made my days there full of joy. She prepared delicious soup for me and her husband. I have been very grateful to her for all that she did. I’m very grateful to my parents. They give me so much love and spare no efforts to support me.
