My college life

College life is the golden time in our life. During this period, one should know our value, what we want and stick to it. Whatever the reason, it can’t be wasted. Consequently, a reasonable plan seems necessary for achieving goals for 4-year college life.

One of my goals for 4-year college life is to pass CET4 and CET6 and achieve Master’s degree in the area that I study, which means I must take post-grade entrance examination and CET examinations. The present education system has often been criticized as being too examination-oriented. However, one must remember that in offices and other areas of work, examinations still feature clearly, showing how much one knows or learns from a particular course. Another goal is to enhance my capability of communication----an indispensable skill. Being a shy girl, I am dying for nature and poised communication with others.

There is a saying goes: no pains, no

gains. Before reaching my goal, hard work and persistence must be paid. For one thing, I should be fully devoted to study. Girl who likes play with mobile phone during classes as I am, I shouldn’t slide into this bad habit. What I should do is to control myself and be self-disciplined and determined. For another, I can join clubs during leisure time and take active role in them. Not only can it help me communicate with more people, but it can also make me confident.
