Due to its good physical properties such as low coe?cient, high thermal conductivity, high resistance of irradia-tion swelling, and good geometric stability, the F/M steel T91and SIMP are two kinds of accepted material used in nuclear reactor. So it’s necessary for us to make some research on them.

In this paper,self-ion irradiation was used to simulate the damage caused by fast neutrons in the F/M steel T91and SIMP under temperature of 300?C.The irradiation experiment on T91and SIMP steel samples were carried out with 352.8keV Fe-ions.

In the control experiment, the samples were irradiated to 0.09and 0.24dpa for these two kinds of material.Fig.1The S -parameter versus positron incident energy,

SIMP steels.Fig.2The S -parameter versus positron incident energy,T91steels.

In order to characterize the samples,Slow-positron annihilation spectroscopy analysis was carried out at School of Physical Sciences,USTC.

Figs.1and 2show that the defects in blank samples are lower than the ones after irradiation. The reason for this phenomenon is the technology used during preparation.Grinding and polishing caused these defects on the surface
