高中英语阅读课教学设计新案例 王秀琴 高中英语(SEFC)阅读课文具有题材广泛、体裁各样、语言知识丰富等特征,是各单元教学的核心部分,也是培养学生阅读能力的主要渠道。然而,传统的阅读课教学模式常常是单一的自下而上模式,教学方式只是把课文作为单纯向学生传授语法及语言知识的载体,忽视了培养学生的阅读速度和理解能力;传统的阅读理解提问方式也常常停留在对所阅读文章的表层理解层次上。那么,如何借助这些课文来提高学生的阅读速度、阅读理解能力和语言水平呢?经过教学实践和不断尝试,笔者发现:不同阅读活动阶段,必须采用不同阅读理解模式以求不同阅读教学目标的实现。下面以SEFC Book 1A Unit 7 "Earthquakes" 单元阅读课为例对这一问题进行探析。 一、First–reading 采用自上而下模式,侧重培养快速阅读理解能力 ―自上而下的模式‖是哥德曼(Goodman)1971年提出的阅读理论模式。这一理论反对把阅读看成是对一系列词句的知觉,认为阅读者不必使用全部文本中的提示,他们在文章中挑选和选择足够的信息来作出预测,用他们自己的经验和有关客观世界的知识去验证他们的预测。按这个模式,阅读者在阅读过程中不是逐字、逐句地去理解,而是结合自己的预测,在文章中找出有关的信息,来验证自己的预测。该模式有利有弊,弊在对学生语言基础知识的掌握不利,容易造成学生语言基本功不扎实。然而,由于强调整体篇章理解,在阅读时采取跳跃式搜索、猜测等方法,所以有利于培养学生快速阅读理解能力。 阅读速度的培养是阅读教学中一个重要的任务。目前,中学生阅读能力在速度上与可能达到的指标相比普遍要低几倍,甚至十几倍。随着信息时代的到来,人们急需尽快获取各种信息资料,成倍提高工作效率与学习效果,培养学生的快速阅读理解能力是实施英语素质教育的必然要求。然而,训练学生阅读速度必须建立在学生对文章内容处于陌生状态的基础上,因此,在学生初次接触阅读课文时,应该采用自上而下阅读模式,不失时机地培养他们的快速阅读习惯、快速阅读理解能力。这一阶段的教学设计主要如下: 1、引入题材。可采用设疑悬念、直观导入、故事导入等引入方式。 2、进行快阅。可向学生介绍组读法、察读法、浏读法、略读法、跳读法等快速阅读方法。 3、检测理解。可采用问答题、判断题、选择题、做笔记、填图表等检测形式。 附SEFC Book IA Lesson 26 & Lesson 27 阅读理解问答题: 1) Which was the USA's strongest earthquakes ? 2) How many people lost their lives and how many people lost their homes in the 1906 earthquake ? 3) How many people lost their lives in the 1989 earthquake? 4) When the 1906 earthquake happened, how many metres did the Pacific plate jump to the north ? 5) How many measures(措施) can we take in order to deal with earthquakes ? 6) What is " The Big One"? 经过一读课文及完成表层信息捕捉问题后,学生对文章有了肤浅的认识,阅读速度也得到训练。然而,阅读包含两个阶段:一是辨认文字符号的感性认识阶段;二是理解内容,吸收信息,创造性思维译码的理性认识阶段。因此,二读课文,加深文章的理解就显得尤为必要了。

You see, I have a muscle disease which makes me very weak, so I can't run or climb stairs as quickly as other people. In addition, sometimes I am very clumsy and drop things or bump into furniture. Unfortunately, the doctors don't know how to make me better, but I am very outgoing and have learned to adapt to my disability. My motto is: live One day at a time. Until I was ten years old I was the same as everyone else. I used to climb trees, swim and play football. In fact, I used to dream about playing professional football and possibly representing my country in the World Cup. Then I started to get weaker and weaker, until I could only enjoy football from a bench at the stadium. In the end I went into hospital for medical tests. I stayed there for nearly three months. I think I had at least a billion tests, including one in which they cut out a piece of muscle from my leg and looked at it under a microscope. Even after all that, no one could give my disease a name and it is difficult to know what the future holds. One problem is that I don't look any different from other people. So sometimes some children in my primary school would laugh, when I got out of breath after running a short way or had to stop and rest halfway up the stairs. Sometimes, too, I was too weak to go to school so my education suffered. Every time I returned after an absence, I felt stupid because I was behind the others. My life is a lot easier at high school because my fellow students have accepted me. The few who cannot see the real person inside my body do not make me annoyed, and I just ignore them. All in all I have a good life. I am happy to have found many things I can do, like writing and computer programming. My ambition is to work for a firm that develops computer software when I grow up. Last year invented a computer football game and a big company has decided to buy it from me. I have a very busy life with no time to sit around feeling sorry for myself. As well as going to the movies and football matches with my friends, I spend a lot of time with my pets. I have two rabbits, a parrot, a tank full of fish and a tortoise. To look after my pets properly takes a lot of time but I find it worthwhile. I also have to do a lot of work, especially if I have been away for a while. In many ways my disability has helped me grow stronger psychologically and become more independent. I have to work hard to live a normal life but it has been worth it. 新课标高中英语复习课教学模式为了求得课堂教学的最大效益,更好地落实高中英语新课程改革的精神;面向全体学生,充分发挥学生的主体作用,促进学生的全面发展;同时以先进的教育理念和新课程标准为指导,以学生学会学习为标志,努力优化课堂教学结构,改进课堂教学方式,实施有效教学、高效教学;现针对我校目前高中英语课堂教学的实际,本着从基础入手,从规范入手,优化课堂教学结构,改进课堂教学方式的原则,提出高中英语复习课教学基本模式。 复习课应体现“学案使用四环节”。即“依案自学—信息反馈—质疑点拨—拓展补偿”。其中“质疑点拨”再分四步走,即个人质疑推断、小组合作探究、师生归纳拓展、补偿深化提高。 或是:课前任务型预习(指导学生自主探究预习导案)→课上针对预习导案生生、师生探究梳理归纳知识体系→变式训练、当堂巩固→拓展运用、知识迁移”四个环节。 高三复习课还应注意:考点解读,典型引路和方法点拨 ①考点解读教师阐明“考纲”及“考试说明”中对本知识点的能力层级要求,分析近年来高考山东卷、全国卷以及其他省市考卷的相关考试内容、题型特点、分值分配等情况,预测新一年山东高考本知识点的发展趋势,提出复习要求。 ②典型引路教师出示精选出的高考题或其他典型例题,在学生试做之后,根据情况进行分析讲解,重在归纳总结其中规律性和趋势性的内容,引导学生逐步了解、熟悉、掌握高考题型。

③方法点拨教师在前一环节的基础上,对本知识点应掌握的基础知识进行提示归纳,力求系列化、系统化、网络化,明确提出复习的目标要求,特别要引导学生对解题的思路进行总结,侧重对解题的方法和技巧等进行指导,努力使学生的知识能力化,为学生下一步的自主复习打好基础。 高三一轮教学复习具体实施步骤: 课前要求学生大声朗读和背诵每单元英语课文,并复习重点单词、短语和句型,激活学生的英语思维,为上课做好准备。 一、知识检查和梳理 1.听写或默写 老师分别用英语和汉语两种语言听写或默写每单元的重点单词(10)、短语(10)和句型(2)。听写或默写时,让1—2名学生到黑板上写。写后,同桌互换答案,让英语水平好的同学到黑板上批改,这样的“板演”可以充分开发学生的非智力因素。 2.要点精讲 精讲的部分包括本单元与历届高考中相关的考查点,注重考点解读,内容涉及到高考中的听力、单选、完形填空、阅读、改错和作文。 二、目标检测、当堂训练和评讲 1.目标检测题的设置 检测题目一般都是从历届高考试题和学生曾经做错的试题中精心挑选出来的。根据学情,每单元仍设置20道单项选择。 2.当堂限时训练,及时反馈
