Good afternoon, everybody. Standing here, I want to have a speech about DINK.From the beginning,I’d like to tell you what is DINK. But before I tell you, I want you ask some of you. In your view,what is DINK.

OK,then, I will you the answer.DINK is the abbreviation of Double Income No Kids. Obviously, it means the couple who both have stable income but don’t want to have kids. It become a hit in recent years, for it is unbelievable for the two didn’t have the plan to raise a kid, even they have no worry about the financial problem.After I thinking it over,I think there are three main reasons for the DINK.

The first one is that the two want to have their own world, without kids’annoying matters. It is widely known that kids may always turn to parents for help as soon as they are faced to little matters,such as they have their clothes dirty or toys broken.Kids always cry,and the crying seems to the noise,annoying us.

The second reason is for the heavy pay of raising a child.As it known to all,in the period of raising kids,the amount of money is huge,including milk powder,baby diapers,toys , tuition fees and so on. The huge amount of money cause their unwilling to raise kids.

Last but not at least, ladies are worried about their promotions.In a company, if a lady want to get a promotion but she has a baby at that time,it will bring no profit for the company.Otherwise,the company may

suffer a lot for ladies’ confinements.In order not to suffer a lot,presidents may chose who has kids or won’t have kid forever to promote.

As I said above,we may understand a lot about what cause the phenomenon of DINK.And what’s your own view, will you want to be DINK?
