The first sightseeing restaurant bus went into service in Hong Kong. It offers tourists and local tourists and local people a new experience of s ightseeing and dining. ‘There is now no need to plan where to go or worry about where to eat, sparing time for shopping.” Thomas Hung, chairman of the operator Crystal Bus Holding Limited, said.

The sightseeing restaurant bus is a 47-seat double-decker decorated with wonderful lighting and sound systems. It tours around the city, and the food there is from locally famous restaurants.

Its service includes day and night tours. The day tour covers over 20 attractions from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island or to the New Territories. The two-and –a half-hour day tour costs each passenger 380 HK dollars. Night tours are only for booking out the whole bus and the guests can choose the route for themselves. Price for a night tour is 8800 HK dollars from Monday to Thursday and 12,800 HK dollars for weekends and the eve of public holidays.

Like other sightseeing buses, Crystal Bus has a guide system. It offers passengers information about the attractions in both Chinese and foreign languages. “Crystal Bus also provides local people with a fresh idea for a date or gathering with friends,” Hung added.

This morning, we had a school trip to the Dashan Collection House, a building of two floors. It is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We took the school bus and arrived at 9:00. When we entered the

collection house, our eyes were caught by a collection of old photos of the town on the walls of the front hall. Those photos told us something about the history of the town. And then in the Art Room, we saw many photos of the countryside. Some famous local artists drew them. The colors of the flowers and the trees were rich and bright. All at once, I lost myself in the beauty of nature. Then we went upstairs（楼上）. On the left, there were over one hundred different clocks. The oldest clock was already more than two hundred years old. To my surprise, the clocks all worked well and they could tell the right time. It was then ten o’clock, and some clocks made different beautiful sounds. It seemed to be a concert. How amazing!
