在高考英语当中,阅读理解占据了很大的分量,为了让同学们提高阅读理解的解题能力,下面是整理的高中英语阅读学习方法,希望大家喜欢。

一、教学策略

英语阅读教学过程可从以下五步入手:整体入手感知文本,把握文本主旨与结构,理解词汇与语法知识,深入细致理解文意,最后综合归纳。具体操作如下。

第一步:快速阅读,感知文本。快速阅读,根据不同文体语篇的基本特征和特点,判断*文体,培养学生阅读判断理解不同文体的能力。

第二步:运用方法,筛选信息。根据关键词汇,细读寻找信息,理清*结构层次。培养学生弄清*主旨,理清*结构的能力。

第三步:同伴互助,发现问题。分小组分析*段落结构,领会*结构与语言特色,找出理解困难的句子和问题,小组讨论。

第四步:讨论交流,综合理解。各组向全班汇报讨论结果及提出问题,引发对*的深度综合理解,培养学生运用所学知识,表达自己对相关问题的看法与见解的能力。

第五步:书面表达,模仿运用。运用所学的知识与阅读技巧再次阅读*,模仿*结构与语言特色,以书面的形式表达相关主题,培养学生对不同文体的书面表达能力。

二、阅读策略

语段的阅读,重点考查的是理解归纳语篇的主旨要义、理解语篇的基本结构,以及作者的意图、观点和态度等方面的能力。由此可见,高考英语对学生在阅读上的要求更高,更综合,更强调语言的运用能力。在阅读中,我们要根据学生的学习现状,制定有效的阅读策略。下面以议论文为例。

1. 关注学生是否能读懂*

读懂不等于通读,应该在通读的基础上快速对*主要内容作出正确的判断或者概括。有些学生总习惯读一遍*,然后开始答题,结果只能走马观花。因此,教师应教给学生怎样去读,怎样把握*意图,督促学生真正地深入到*内部去了解作者的内心。

2. 帮助学生把握作者整体的观点或态度

每一种文体都有各自的特点,比如议论文,议论文的阅读就在于是否准确把握作者的意图和观点。所以,教师应该教给学生怎样借助关键语句或者关键词汇快速提炼作者的观点,从而总体把握*意图。

高中英语教学案例分析 教材版本:人教版高中英语必修2 unit 1 授课时间:45分钟 一、学生分析 教学对象为高中一年级学生,智力发展趋于成熟。他们的认知能力比初中阶段有了进一步的发展,渐渐形成用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,因此我特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。他们学习英语方法由死记硬背转型向理解型并应用到交际上,他们有自己的学习技能和策略,学会把语言学习与现实生活和兴趣联系起来。通过任务型课堂活动和学习,学生的学习自主性得到加强,不再认为英语的课堂学习很枯燥,主动参与到活动中去,成为课堂的主体,同时也加强了与他人交流合作的能力。 二、教材分析 这一课是本单元第一个课时。 在上这一节课前并没有让他们了解太多的与课文内容相关的知识,只是由于这课出现的人名和地名比较多,我自己另外准备的引入(只是花了4到5分钟的时间),让学生对这课的话题作好心理准备,也为了完成本单元的目标作了铺垫。 三、教学目标 本课为阅读课型,主要介绍有关俄罗斯遗失琥珀屋的轶事。通过阅读使学生了解世界文化遗产,学会描述他们的起源、发展和保护等方面的情况。教师根据课文内容用不同的形式来让学生自己归纳,提高阅读技能。本课目的要使学生学会如何谈论文化遗产以及最后形成保护文物的意识。 教学内容大致分为以下几个方面: 1.看图片和听录音引入文化遗产这一话题。 2从网上下载一些琥珀屋图片并展示给学生看,分辨新旧琥珀屋,给学生以感官上的刺激,而且有利于帮助学生对文章的理解。(一些生词用板书) 3.学生阅读课文后完成精读练习。 4.语言学习--难句解释。 5.小结文章,一是找关键线索,二是写作手法。 6.小组讨论,包括复述课文,加深对文章的理解,以及学生总结自己通过本课学习学到了什么(达到教学目标--形成保护文物意识)。 课前需要准备中外文物图片以及对这些图片简短的录音描述五、教学过程 (一) warming-up引入 教师用 PowerPoint look at three pictures and listen to three tourist guide describe each of them. 高中英语阅读教学浅议 (乾县第一中学陈华) 摘要:阅读是学习语言最为有效的方法之一,也是培养学生理解和运用英语技能的一个基本方法,因此本文对如何激发学生阅读兴趣,提高其阅读技巧做了简单探讨。 关键词:英语阅读教学;阅读方法;阅读步骤 目前,英语在中国显示了强烈的的重要性。作为英语教学重要组成部分的英语阅读是学习语言知识和提高英语语言能力的有效途径,也是人们获取外部信息,了解世界的主要手段。然而,我国英语阅读教学的现状却存在着一些问题,比如阅读教学模式单一;教师在教学过程中忽视了学生的主体性原则;阅读教学中偏重对阅读材料的教学,忽视对学生阅读方法的指导等。根据现代阅读理论,阅读效率的提高受到词汇量,语言能力,阅读策略,情感因素,学习动机,母语对外语的迁移,文化背景知识等诸多因素的影响。因此如何能够进行有效的英语阅读教学,从而真正帮助学生提高阅读能力成为广大英语教师必须思考的问题。 要想提高阅读能力,成为高效率的外语阅读者,学生们必需具备一定的语法知识和充沛的词汇量。此外,还应该对将要阅读的文章背景有一定的了解。当然,相应的阅读方法和策略更是必不可少的。因此,在实际教学中教师不仅要教学生“学会”,而且还要教学生“会学”。要用各种方法教会学生“怎样学”,使学生具备学习和运用英语的能力。在阅读过程中根据不同的阅读目的和要求, 采取不同的阅读方式和策略,遵循由浅入深, 由表及里, 由具体到概括的顺序要求阅读。常见的阅读方式有: 略读: 略读是一种快速浏览阅读方式,其目的是了解文章大意义,读者可有选择跳跃式地阅读。其要求速度很高,通常要求读者每分钟400个单词的阅读量,但理解的精确度比较低,至少理解全文50%。可以采取三个步骤:通读文章的起始段和结尾段;细读其他段落的主题句;浏览与主要内容相关的句子。 跳读:寻找所需信息,如年代、数字、人名、地名等把握住关键词,利用语法过渡词,语气转折词及时态等,抓住文章脉络。 细读:分段细读,注意细节,注意语言结构,处理语言点,抓住主要事实,关键信息,揭示文章结构的内在联系,帮助深化理解。一篇文章是一个有机的整体,段落与段落之间存在着内在的紧密联系,而每段的内容都与主题有着很重要的联系,所以弄清文章结构上的问题,对于把握文章主题、文章大意非常重要。 推读:推测未直接写明的含义、因果关系以及词义猜测对学生在自学过程中遇到的新的单词、表达法或语法。引导学生学会根据上下文进行猜测,这样既提高了阅读速度又形成了一种能力,这也是英语阅读的关键所在。培养学生猜词的能力是我们在外语教学中十分重要而有意义的一个环节。但是若遇到了关键的词句且影响对文章的理解则要提倡学生使用手中的工具书,自行查阅解决学习中

论新课程改革背景下的农村高中英语阅读教学 发表时间:2011-02-21T16:20:11.980Z 来源:《中学课程辅导●教学研究》2011年第3期供稿作者:王维鹏①张玲丽② [导读] 阅读理解一直是英语学习中十分重要的一部分。 王维鹏①张玲丽② 摘要:阅读在英语教学中起着主导作用。要改变当前农村高中英语阅读教学的现状,教师首先要更新观念,其次要创造条件激发学生的阅读兴趣,培养学生的自主阅读能力。 关键词:新课程;阅读能力;英语阅读教学 作者简介:王维鹏,任教于甘肃省宕昌县哈达铺中学;张玲丽,任教于甘肃省泾川县党原乡合道中学。 阅读理解一直是英语学习中十分重要的一部分。新大纲规定:“中学英语教学的目的,是对学生进行听、说、读、写的基本训练,培养学生在口头上和书面上初步运用英语的能力,侧重培养阅读能力”。阅读能力是中学英语教学的主要目标,它是指阅读者从书面语言中获取信息,进行加工编码,获得知识意义的活动过程。它是一种通过阅读过程而体现出来的综合能力。中学英语教学的成功与否,应主要从学生对读物的阅读理解能力的强弱上去判断。 一、目前农村高中英语阅读课教学的现状及存在问题 由于传统教学观念和其它因素的影响,目前农村高中英语阅读课教学仍以教师讲解、学生笔记为主,学生缺乏阅读实践。主要表现在: 1.教学观念封闭、落后。一些教师“十年如一日”地沿用旧教案,采取旧教法,在阅读课上采取逐字逐句翻译,忽视了语篇整体的理解。学生在阅读过程中也犯了逐字逐句理解短文的错误习惯,导致阅读速度减慢或碰到新单词就没法往下阅读或无法理解整体语篇,使学生厌倦英语阅读,最终影响阅读能力的提高。 2.片面强调知识传授。个别教师过分强调语言点和语法传授,忽视了阅读方法的传授和阅读能力的培养。这就导致学生无法把上课学到的知识运用到具体的阅读材料上,久而久之也就造成了学生的实际运用能力越来越差。 3.忽视背景知识的传授,忽视情景教学。学生不能在特定的环境下理解课文,使他们在阅读中无法根据相关知识理解材料,这导致理解率偏低。学生没能在具体的情景中掌握知识,决定了他们不能运用已学知识到具体的实践中去,最终导致学生英语语言交际能力水平低。 4.学生依赖母语现象比较严重 一般来说,在高中阶段学生已经拥有一定数量的英语词汇,并且对英文各种基本的结构也有所掌握。但是实践表明,很多学生并不懂得如何正确进行阅读理解。通常情况下,他们在阅读文章的时候都是逐词逐句地去读,并且在阅读过程中总是不自觉地将文章先翻译成自己的母语,再用中文理解文章大意。成绩好的学生会有选择地查所读文中的生词,而成绩差者往往遇到生词就查。阅读的真正目的应该在于将文章作为一个整体理解并且从中获取相关信息,而不是仅仅去学一两个陌生的单词、掌握一两个复杂的句式那么简单。 二、阅读理解在高中英语教学中的重要性 在英语教学过程中,阅读起着主导作用。英语阅读能力的提高又可以推动和促进英语分析能力以及推理判断能力,是中学英语教学过程中不可忽视的一环。 首先,大量的阅读训练可以为学生提供语言教学所需要的语言环境。中国的英语教学是外语教学,缺少语言教学实际的环境。而阅读是巩固已获得的知识和掌握新知识的主要途径,它能为英语学习者提供恰当的学习环境,培养学生的语感。外语学习者的听说能力是在阅读能力的基础上发展起来的。从阅读入手是学生培养语感、积累语言经验的有效途径。 其次,阅读可以扩大词汇量,可以帮助学生在语境中了解词义,掌握其正确用法;同时,阅读可以巩固和扩大学生的词汇量,降低遗忘率,巩固和发展所学过的语言知识和技能。 再次,阅读可以帮助学生加强对不同文体、不同文章结构和不同写作技巧的了解,学生可以获得句感、段落感及篇章感,增强细致观察语言的能力,发展思维能力和自学能力。通过阅读,学习者不仅可以掌握语言知识、增强语感,而且可以提高语言运用能力,培养交际能力。 三、有效提高农村高中学生阅读能力的教学策略 1.更新观念,提高自身素质 外语教师需要从转变观念入手,努力提高自身的素质,以满足新课改英语教学的要求。教师之间要大力提倡互相学习,取长补短,促进教学观念的更新;教师还要多读一些有关教学法的书刊,以及语言学、心理学和教育学等方面的理论,以便了解英语教学的新动向;要不断充实自己的专业知识和教学法知识,提高自己的教学能力,开阔自己的思路;要充分利用前人的经验,争取有所创新。积极改变教学模式,改变学生“听讲——接受——记忆——做习题”的学习模式,创造性地使用教材。新教材的课文题材广泛,内容教育性强,配套资料丰富。这些都为新教材的运用提供了有利的条件,教师在课文教学中不应平均使用力量,而要根据大纲的要求,通过教学改革来发挥教材的效力。 2.创设条件,树立学好英语的自信心,培养自学能力 在阅读教学过程中,教师要做的不仅仅是良好的阅读习惯和对语篇内容知识的传授,更重要的是积极创设学生参与阅读活动的条件和氛围;给予学生明确的阅读目标,并对学生进行阅读方法的指导;培养学生自主阅读的动力和能力;鼓励学生表达、交流阅读体验;让学生读有动力,读有方法,读有创造,读有个性。因此,教师在日常教学中要积极开展各种活动,指导学生阅读英语简易读物,拓宽学生知识面,培养英语学习兴趣,激发学生的阅读热情,充分发挥他们的阅读潜能,最终达到提高阅读速度及理解效率的目的。也只有这样,才能培养学生具有独立吸收英语知识的能力、独立运用英语知识的能力、独立解决英语问题的能力。 3.锻炼阅读技巧,培养学生结合上下语境猜词的能力 词汇障碍将会影响语言文字的理解。在阅读过程中,学生不可避免地会遇到生词。目前很多教师都采用词汇教学的模式进行阅读教学。在课堂教学中,教师常常先教词汇或让学生先学习词汇,再讲解文章。这种教学模式的结果导致学生在阅读过程中过于依赖母语,阅

1 O. Henry was a pen name used by an American writer of short stories. His real name was William Sydney Porter. He was born in North Carolina in 1862. As a young boy he lived an exciting life. He did not go to school for very long, but he managed to teach himself everything he needed to know. When he was about 20 years old, O. Henry went to Texas, where he tried different jobs. He first worked on a newspaper, and then had a job in a bank, when some money went missing from the bank O. Henry was believed to have stolen it. Because of that, he was sent to prison. During the three years in prison, he learned to write short stories. After he got out of prison, he went to New Y ork and continued writing. He wrote mostly about New Y ork and the life of the poor there. People liked his stories, because simple as the tales were, they would finish with a sudden change at the end, to the reader’s surprise. 2 One day a few years ago a very funny thing happened to a neighbour of mine. He is a teacher at one of Londo n’s big medical schools, He had finished his teaching for the summer term and was at the airport on his way to Russia to give a lecture. He had put a few clothes and his lecture notes in his shoulder bag, but he had put Rupert, the skeleton (人体骨骼) to be used in his lecture, in a large brown suitcase (箱子).
