Step 1 Greeting

T: Afternoon, every one! Meet you again!

Step 2 Revision

Encourage the students to act out the conversation in Unit 1.

T: First, I'll check your homework. Which group can act out the conversation in Unit 1?

Step 3 Warming up and leading in

Firstly, pl ay a short video called “Offer seat in the bus” for the students. T: Do you have the experience of offering seat to someone in need?

Ss: Yes.

T: Have you ever taken the train?

Ss: Of course.

T: Look at the pictures. Have you ever met such a situation? How do you feel about taking the train? How about the environment on the train? Are there so many people?

Show the following pictures and talk about trips by train with students.
