Teaching Content: Module 4 Unit 2 Does she like bananas?

1.The new words: banana, pear, apple, orange

2. The new sentence pattern, “Does she like bananas?” and its reply.

Teaching Aims:

1. Consolidating what we have learned last class.

2. Reading these new words correctly, such as apple, pear, orange, banana.

3. Mastering the Chinese meanings of the new words.

4. Using the sentence pattern“Does she like bananas?” and its reply “Yes, she does./ No, she doesn’t.” flexibly.

5. Thinking actively

6. Answering the teacher’s questions actively and initiatively and loudly.

7. Being more and more interested in English.

8. Cherishing these fruits in daily life

1. Having a good knowledge of the new words and the new sentence pattern.

2. Mastering the correct pronunciations of those new words.

Teaching Procedures:

Step 1 Greetings (1 minute)

Teacher: Hello, boys and girls.

Teacher: How are you these days?

Step 2 Revision (5 minutes)

2.1 Words review

Whole Class Work

All the students read all of the words that were taught yesterday inUnit1.Words are as follows, meat pass rice mum noodles fish milk.

2.2 Pattern drill review

Reviewing the sentence structure “Do you like …?”First the teacher asks, students answer by turns. Second, asking two students to stand up to have a dialogue. For example:

Student A: “Do you like meat?”

Student B: “Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.

2.3 A game

Asking students to choose the words from Unit1 to make dialogues with their partners using the structure “Do you like…?”, then stand up to speak it out.

Step 3 Warming-up and Leading-in (3 minutes)

Teacher: The first bell has rung, let’s sing a song. “Apple round, apple red…” As you sing, you should clap your hands. Then, using the sentence pattern “Do you like…” and its reply to lead to the new sentence pattern “Does she like…” and its reply.

Step 4 Presentation (20 minutes)

4.1 New words presentation

First, listen to the tape (three times).

Second, listen and read after the tape.

Third, show students the pictures of the new words one to one correspondence, and read after the teacher (three times).

Fourth, group reading (four times).

Fifth, individual reading (6-8 students).

4.2 Sentence presentation

The teacher takes a banana and asks one student, “Do you like bananas?” The student answer, “Yes, I do. / No, I don’t”, then the teacher point to the student asking the whole class, “Does she like bananas?” Then the teacher leads students to answer, “Yes, she does. / No, she doesn’t.”

Step 5 Practice (7 minutes)

Question and Answer Practice

Divide the whole class into four groups, and then choose four students from those groups, each group one student. Then one asks, one answers, two guess. For example:

Student A asks student B and student C: Does student D like bananas?

Student B and student C guess: Yes, she does. / No, she doesn’t.

Then student A asks student D: Do you like bananas?

Student D: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

Then who guess right, whose group must be the winner.

Step 6 Consolidation (5 minutes)

The teacher asks one student, “Does Betty like apples?” then let her guess. After she guesses, the teacher asks Betty, “Do you like apples?” If the student guesses right, the teacher will give the apple to her.

Step 7 Summary (2 minutes)

At last, the teacher summarizes the all that we have learned today.

Step 8 Homework (2minutes)

First, reading the newly learned words correctly.

Second, practicing the sentence pattern with their partners.

Teaching Reflections

通过这次的教学试讲,我愈来愈强烈地感受到要成为一名合格的、受他人爱戴的好老师是相当有难度的。在日常工作中我们要做许多的工作:

1.依据各级教学目标,写好教案,认真钻研教材,找出学习要点,搞清知识联系,及时做好补充修正,提高学生技能。

2.了解学生的原由知识技能及其各方面需要,采取相应措施,为他们的学习提供帮助。在日常教学中,尽最大努力兼顾每个学生的成长发展。

3.注意与学生之间的沟通交流,鼓励学生大胆倾诉,转变角色,消除隔阂。

4.鼓励学生大胆质疑,敢于提出所遇到的各种问题,积极交流讨论,解决所遇困难,开辟平坦的学习之路。

5.认真组织好课堂教学,调动学生的有意注意并保持持久的稳定;激发学生情感,引发学习兴趣,讲练结合,发挥好学生的主体、主动作用;倡导小组、合作、互助学习,提升学生竞争意识,增强自信。

在这次试讲中我存在许多某些不足、疏漏之处,需要在今后的教学过程中有所改善,有所提高:

1.课堂指令要明确。比如说做游戏时,首先要向全班同学讲明游戏规则再做游戏。

2.在没有PPT的情况下,一定要将新单词写在黑板上。

3.始终发不好梅花音。

4.做游戏时一定要面向学生。

5.教学机智有待加强。教学过程中,难免会出现备课中未经考虑到的突发状况显现于课堂,这就需要教师具备较强的应变能力及及时调整教学策略的能力,而又应注意保护学生的独特感受,张扬其个性。这就需要自己能对学习内容有自己独到的见解、;立场,能根据实际调整自己的教学设计,这一方面我还需要不断学习、努力、提高。

6.善于动脑,勤于思考。在工作中,及时发现学生的不良苗头,寻找应对措施,形成健康向上的风气。此外,还需补充各方面的信息,多层面刺激感觉神经,吸收他人优点,去粗取精,开创特色。

在这次试讲中,我既有收获的喜悦,也有不足的反思。在今后的教学工作中,我应更加尽心尽力,把握机会,早日成为专业化教师队伍中的一员。我坚信只要努力,就一定会有更多的收获!学习新课程改革理论,更新教学观念,迎接新课改的挑战。

B.关系代词的用法1. that 既可以用于指人,也可以用于指物。 2.which用于指物,在句中作主语或宾语,作主语不可省略,作宾语可省略。例如: The building which stands near the train station is a supermarket.位于火车站附近的那座大楼是一家超市。(作主语) The film (which)we saw last night was wonderful. 我们昨天晚上看的那部电影很好看。(作宾语) 3.who,whom用于指人,who 用作主语,whom用作宾语。在口语中,有时可用who 代替whom,也可省略。例如:
