考生在比较阐述两个不同的观点时，要有自己的观点倾向。对自己赞同的观点可以少花些笔墨，以便在表达自己的观点时还有话可说：对自己反对的观点可以多花些笔墨进行驳斥。如果提纲所列的两个观点自己都不同意，在评论这两个观点时可以平分笔墨。
考生在文章的最后表明自己的态度或看法时，如果看法与文章前面列举的某种观点相同或相似并且需要论述理由时，切忌重复前面提到的论据。考生应该在打腹稿时合理分配论据。

Fast food, such as hamburger and fried chicken，becomes more and more popular with young people in modern China．But this trend has amused same anxiety that the traditional cuisine will be forgotten one day if people get used to living on a diet of fast food．Besides，some people think
fast food can do harm to people’s health because this type of food fails to provide adequate daily requirements of all nutrition．
Although the popularity may cause some health problems，my attitude towards fast food is positive．The reasons are just as follows，For one thing，it is difficult to resist the temptation of fast food of McDonalds，or Kentucky because they can provide the customers with a kind of completely new and tempting food as well as excellent service．For another，in an age when some busy people would not like to waste too much time in cooking，eating fast food is a good choice to help them make full use of time．
As for the worry that the negative effects on Chinese traditional diet caused by fast food，in my opinion，the national cuisine will not die out because feast food and traditional food do not go contrary to each other and they can serve different tastes．In one sense，fast food is a product of an ever-changing lifestyle．We should be brave to accept this change instead of saying no to it.
Should Euthanasia Be Legalized?
Should euthanasia be legalized？Answers to this question vary greatly from person to person．Some people are in favor of the idea of euthanasia．On the one hand，it can benefit the patient．To a terminally ill person who is suffering unbearable pains day and night or living like a "vegetable"，to be allowed to end his life painlessly is a good relief. On the other hand，it can also benefit the patients family．To his family it is a heavy burden both financially and emotionally when they make every effort to sustain his life，which，more often than not，will eventually be in vain．
However，other people think that the legalization may bring about some problems．Firstly，they argue that it is inhumane to make a terminally ill person who does not want to the feel guilty of remaining alive. Secondly，it is also insensible that a patient is killed simply because of a mistaken terminal diagnosis．Finally，it is possible that euthanasia could be taken advantage of for criminal purpose．
In my opinion，there's some truth in both arguments．It is true that the legalization of euthanasia will raise serious moral and social issues．But without euthanasia，I wonder whether or not doctors can come up with better ways to lessen the pain of the terminally
ill patients．
Reduction of Students’ Study Load
Chinese primary and middle school students now grow up under heavy pressures because they have to face a huge amount of homework and frequent exams．This has triggered a heated discussion on whether or not we should reduce the students' study load throughout China．
Some people strongly advocate that we should reduce the students’study load．They argue that，first，it deprives children of their free time and the golden，cheerful childhood，which they are entitled to．As a result，all their weekends and vacations are taken up by endless homework and make-up lessons．Second，heavy study load has seriously affected their physical and psychological health．To illustrate，more and more students are either wearing glasses or suffering from nervous disorder．
However，others hesitate about it and they prefer to stick to the old practice rather than reduce students’study load．They believe that only hard work can earn a bright future for children．Besides，they think it's just a waste of time for students to idle around. A case in point is
that more children were drowned this summer，which might result from the reduction of study load．
Personally，I’m on the side of the former argument．We should moderately reduce students’study load．It’s easy to find that a heavy load is the by-product of the existing exam-oriented system. So it is urgent and necessary that the current exam assessment system be reformed．
Is College English Test Band 4／6 Necessary?
Recently there has been a heated debate on whether or not the national College English Test Band 4/Band 6 is necessary·
Some students and teachers are in favor of it．To start with，they maintain that it is an effective way to raise the level of English in our country．Furthermore，they argue that it may not only inspire teachers to improve their teaching，but also urge students to attach more importance to English so as to improve their communicative skills．
Others hold an opposite point of view．They maintain that this kind of test does not help improve the students’ actual ability in mastering the language，although it may help them acquire some approach to dealing with the test．Besides，it only makes learning and teaching test-oriented．As a result，only such students with high scores but lower abilities are turned out．
For all these negative aspects，I prefer the former opinion．The main reason is that thanks to CET Band -4/Band 6，the overall English level of college students has been greatly promoted，What's more，both teachers and students now place much emphasis on comprehensive learning skills，including listening，speaking，reading，and writing．
The Objective of Study
After entering colleges，students hold quite different opinions about the objective of study．Some of them hold that having a diploma is certainly the objective of study in college．In their opinio，the diploma will guarantee favorable opportunities in the job-hunting campaign．This idea may be the reason why their college lives are almost focused on reading books，which helps them pursue decent scores in exams．
But a good many college students are inclined to challenge this belief. They argue that it is most important to develop the personal interests and rewarding specialties in the college study．For this purpose，they often have every reason to pride themselves on excellent academic achievements in the subjects they take great interest in，while they may flunk in other courses in which they seem rather uninterested．
