Abstract
In the research we did three experiments. We swing cups during the experiments. We test the time of swing for experiment 1 and 2, the number of swing for experiment 3. After this, we research the results and find some discussion.
1.Introduction
In this experiment, our group want to research which factor can influence the swing of cups.
2.Research Methodology
During this experiment, we use the watch, two ropes, two pencils and two cups. We also need something to help us to hang the ropes and cups. First, we make a pencil go through the cup, so we can use the rope of 80cm to hang on the cement shelf. Before hanging, we put some water in the cup to make sure it is heavy enough to swing obviously. Then we pull the cup back at a certain angle. Our group choose the angle of 25 degrees. After that, we release it, measure the time it spend. Afterwards, we try again. After finishing this, we change the rope into 40cm, and do it twice. In the experiment 2, we use both cups and one is heavier. We
number it. In the experiment 3, we change take different angles and number the swing. We used the way of compare.
3.Research Results
Here are some s that I get
From the experiment 1
From the experiment 2
From experiment 3
4.Discussion
So the results show the length of tie influence the speed, but not the same with the number.
The weight is the same.
5.Conclusion and Recommendations
I think this is a successful experiment. We finish our experiment without any troubles. But,
we also have a lot of place to change.
