一、列提纲

关键词 Case：过度消费

●Over-consuming behavior (消费行为) 过度消费很严重，举例子 energy-consuming

behavior (能源消费) 引出宏观主题 conserve energy（保护能源）节约很重要frugality plays a key/critical（至关重要的） role in living in a safe and high-standarded way.

如何加修饰

1. 名词+ which/who/that名词，which/who

Take seriously sth. 重视把sth 放到后面take into account sth.把···拿来考虑Over-expensive goods/ products奢侈品抽象的问题具体化

?扩展：那些把一个人拥有财产的数量当做评判其社会地位的唯一标准的人们，会很重视追逐奢侈品的生活方式。

把...当做.... Consider /regard /see /term A as B

?Many people who consider A as B take seriously the lifestyle of pursuing luxuries.

A: the number of one’s bling goods

B: an only standard to judge his/her social position

●Many people who consider the quantity of one’s bling belongings as a unique criterion to

judge one’s social rank, thus, may take seriously the lifestyle of “chasing after” luxuries.

(metaphor)暗喻pursuit of happiness 当幸福来敲门

2. 名词/ 句子结尾+ V-ed、en(被动) / V-ing(主动) 非谓语动词

●Case1: youngsters, ranging from / who range from 20 to 30-year olds 多举数字

●Case2:研究发现，和十年前的5%相比，现在有近24%的年轻白领表示不清楚自己想要什

么。（最后写“和十年前的5%相比”）

According to a recent report.... It is reported that.... 多用被动

?例子：That fire saved us the agony of deciding what to keep and what to get rid of.

● A recent finding has provided the first concrete（具体的） clue that 24 percent more or less

of young white collars，ranging from 25 to 30-year olds, are barely sure of what to keep and what to get rid of, compared with those of 5 percent one decade ago.

Be sure of be barely sure of 不要not！

3. 名词+ with + 名词后面从属于前面的

● a pretty girl

→ a girl with an angel-like face and a fairy-like figure 天使的脸蛋，魔鬼的身材

●Case: 当今，很多有钱人喜欢通过买豪车来显示自己的成功和存在。

?Nowadays, a lot of riches like buying luxurious autos to show their existence.

?People with money bulging out of one’s pockets

●These days, an overwhelming number of people, with money bulging out of their pockets,

are switching their expenditure(花费，支出) into purchasing limousines（豪车）/luxurious vehicles, (which are) defined/termed as the typical marks of one’s attainment（成功）.

开头单刀直入---虚开头

1.图表作文chart（所有图表都能用）/ illustration

●表格table

The table given above orderly arranges the information／figures about主题, which indicates／discloses（揭露）a truth of matter that 趋势句(先总趋势，再展开数据细节--找最高点，最低点，转折点)

?主题：the population who have taken plastic surgery

●饼图pie chart

The pie chart (which is) given above compares the proportions／percentage distributions of 主题, manifesting／displaying that 趋势（先趋势，后展开数据细节）?主题：Chinese “post-graduate exam（研究生考试）” participants and the candidates （候选人）of the public servant（公务员）

●趋势图line chart / 柱状图bar chart

可以把三种图表的三个句子融合成一个自己的句子！！！

?数据描写--如何展开细节，注意加减乘除，算出百分比

参考：...呈上升趋势，其中2000 年与2005 年保持平衡，08 年是07 年的...倍

?背诵短语

Hold steady 保持平衡increase to 达到了... increase by 涨了...（是百分比）go down/ slide 下降drop by...to 跌了...达到… rise up steadily 平稳增长

rise up / decrease dramatically（戏剧化，引人瞩目的）/ slightly（轻微的）

2.漫画作文虚开头

使用人数太多

●直接描述

?02 年考研真题：美国女孩穿着中国传统服饰

正常：A beautiful American girl is in the cartoon given above.

倒装：In the cartoon given above is a beautiful American girl，← who is standing over there in a Chinese traditional costume，smiling just like a flower.

句子除了主谓宾，其他都是修饰，随便放

?05 年考研试题，“养老足球赛”

素颜：A poor elder, who is desperate and helpless, is being kicked among his daughters’and sons’feet.（中英太过一一对应）

修饰：Desperate and helpless, a poor elder is being kicked just like a football among these evil feet.

?12 年悲观乐观

副词与动词匹配Positively and optimistically considers

形容词与主语搭配positive and optimistic man

--ive 是抽象的，与抽象概念搭配，所以positive man不可以，可以是attitude ?文化火锅

Nutritious(有营养的) and tasteful, （倒装）in the hot-pot are those irresistible dishes, including Chinese Kung-fu,Shakespeare, western humanities, Buddhism（佛教）, etc., which are regarded as a splendid（豪华的，极好的）cultural festival.

简单形式是：including many Chinese cultural notions
