大学视听说口语考试题型
1. Name onegreat person you admire most. Why do you admire him or her?
I admire Coanfucius most. As a Chinese, I think weshould admire Confucius let alone the people who come from western countries. In summary, I admire him more for two reasons. First, I benefit from hisanalects which have a profound effect on the education cause nowadays. As thedays went on, his sayings including his valuable and meaningful theories aretimeless. Second, I think not only Confucius has lots of knowledge but also hecan apply it to run the country. From this point of view, he is also a greatsocial activist.
2.
Whatinfluence have the great people had on your work,
study and life? In my point, the society would advance slowlywithout the great people, for example, the bulb would still be a dream withoutEdison (爱迪生) , chairman Mao had not a critical and vitaleffect on the building of the republic of china, maybe we would not leadthe pleasant and Cosy life .etc.

So I think the great people make my workmeaningful and successful and provide a more comfortable and convenientcondtion for our study and life. In a word, the great people have the profoundinfluence on my work study and life. 3. Whatare good manners in your opinion?
Exactly speaking, there is not the same piece ofleaf in the word, similarly, in our real life, washing my hands and face beforea meal and still do the same after a meal. Don’t talk in a meal, looking out ofthe windows after taking a long time to read books, magnizes and so on. Don’tmake a noise in the library and so on. 4. life? Rome wasn’t build in a day, and good manners can’tbe formed in several days. So we should cultive good manners with greatpatience and persistence. I think we should begin with these common trifles. Inour daily life, don’t look down upon them, great success often result from thegradual increasement of things with little importance. What shouldwe do to cultivate good manners in our

If you always want to cultivategood manners through extraordinary and keep your hands idle, you will losethe chance of cultive good manners. 5. How do youthink high technology, such as the
invention of cell phones, computers and theInternet, influence our manners? It’s beneficial that the invention of cell phones, computers and the internet make our life more colorful and wonderful. At thesame time, there is no doubt that they have been changing our manners. Some oldmanners are dying out and some new manners which were refused and evencriticized ago are accepted gradually by more and more people. inevitably, theyhave a negative influence more or less on our manners. 6. A few westernholidays like Thanksgiving Day and
Mother’s Day are becoming more and morepopular in China. What would you comment on this? I’m very worried about it. It’s a common phenomenonthat a few western holidays are becoming more and more popular in our china. Ithink this is a kind of cultural invasion.

I think every Chinese should have astrong dangerous sense of our nation. As a fewwestern holidays like Thanksgiving Day and Mother’s Day are becoming more andmore popular in China and our festivals become very loney in anarrow corner, even some traditional holidays have been disappearing in ournation . So we should also have a strong sense of responsibility to protestforeign holidays and make our holidays active like before. 7. Is thinkingfreely equal to thinking creatively? Why
or why not? Not equal. Every one may think freely and it’s notnecessary to think creatively. Because a creative thinking is full of wit, after that, you will put forward a new idea or a new theory even you may inventa new tool ect, but a free thinking can be done by a boy with several yearsold, so even if you don’t have a great deal knowledge or rich experience, youmay still think freely after that, maybe your brain can be become efficient buta new idea may not take place. So I think thinking creatively is not equal tothinking freely. 8: what’s your view about creativity?

I think creativity isplaying a more and more important role in the advancement of a nation, theimprovement of human beings’ life and even a harmony of the world, creativityis a kind of important quality of a person. So we should foster creativethinking in our daily life, without creativity, the education will be dull andboring, It will directly result in the pace of high technology and theadvancement of our country. In a word, only education actively foster ourcreativity spirit can our country will become more and more powerful. Socreativity is very important. We should do our best to foster creative thinkingin our daily life. 9: What can we do to foster creative thinking inour daily life? As weare university students and the society need people to invent many new thingsto satisfy the world and the people themselves. So we should try our best tofoster creative thinking. As we all known that in our life, many things make usto accept the world in an normal way, so many times we think one thing in thesame way, in this situation, we can’t have new ideas about it, in order toovercome this,

we should see one thing in an all-round way, different directiongives us different thinking, all kinds of thinking can make us have good idea.If we do every thing in this way in our daily life, our creative thinking willbe fostered frequently. 10: How do you view the test-oriented educationsystem in China? As acoin have two sides. The test-oriented also has its advantages anddisadvantages. In my view, we can get a great deal of knowledge through thetest-oriented system. From this point of view, it’s beneficial for us to passall kinds of exams just because we have mastered and memorized this firmknowledge. But the test-oriented education system only cultivates the abilityto finish all kinds of exercises, yet it ignored other important qualities suchas creativity and performance. So we should get over these shortcomings throughpopular quality-oriented education system. 11: Say something about one of your unforgettableand favorite teachers who have influenced you in your life?

From the primary school to university, lotsof teachers have influenced me in my life. But teacher Sun in a key high schoolis most unforgettable. I think not only teacher Sun has a great intelligenceand many active teaching ways, but also what I benefit more from him is thesespirits in life. His charming personality makes me moved very much. I learnwhat the strong-willed man is, what the strong-character is and how we shouldtreat our classmates, friends and parents. I think these qualities will keepcompany with me in my life forever. 12. What kind of relationship is best for studentsand teachers? In my eyes, students and teachersshould keep two kinds of relationship at best. At class, teachers should takecharge of the class and take responsibility for every student. What’s more, teachersshould be strict in lessons and make sure every student keep the rules. So fromthis point, the teachers are the runner at class.
After class, theyshould become friends between teachers and students. Students can talk freelyand ask some questions even if they aren’t concerned with the lesson.

In themeantime, the teachers should answer them in a friend’s way. 13: Do you always volunteer to answer questions inclass? If not, why? I don’t always volunteer to answer questionsin class. I think I’m a student of a few words. And it’s not necessary toanswer questions in class. Maybe most of students can answer them, so I alwaysthink since all of us are able to answer them. Why I do that first. More over, even if I have answered questions, some students may have a lower opinion ofme, they just say“Can’t you keep silent, why you show off ahead of us ”.SoI don’t always volunteer to answer questions in class. 14: how canyou improve your oral expression ability? Thereis an old saying that “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. So in order to improve myoral expression ability I practice everyday. Every morning, I get up veryearly, and then I read many English materials, at the same time, I listen andrepeat for many times. In this way, I made many mistakes, but I know thatmistakes are necessary in the way

to successes. Because it can tell me whichaspect I should put more effort to improve. We know that we can build up thehabits in English just as we build up the habits in our own language. Chair Maohas said that its necessary to drill as much as possible and the more you applyit in real situations, the more natural it will become. To sum up, nobody canhelp you in leaning English, it’s up to ourselves, we must learn for ourselvesand we can successes in the end. 27. How do you understand cultural invasion? I think cultural invasion is that foreign strongerculture change people’s habits and trditional thoughts and influence our mind.We will find that our trditional culture is facing a problem of succeeding allthe future developing. Some people would say that such a spread of foreignculture would be beneficial, because it would , in a sense ,creat a globlevillage. I think this cultural invasion creats more harm than good. It wouldresult in the demise of local cultures and languages. And this is certainly nota good thing, so we should never lose our

chinese style. We were not beaten inwars, what’s more, we should never beaten in sprit and culture. 28. What are the problems that one-child policy maybring to our society? Does your family have such problems? Our chinese strict family-planning policy oflimiting parents to one child has made the population grouth rate lower, butthe policy is also leading to serious social and economical problems. Firstly,it causes another problem of aging population, the aged-population is a seriousproblem nowadays. Secondly, owing to one-child policy, every family considertheir child to be a emoeror, they don’t let him/her do any difficult thing. SoI think this directly leads to the lower quality of this generation. 29. Do you think it is necessary to conduct theOlympic torch relay around the world? Why or why not? I think it’s fully necessary to conduct the Olympictorch relay around the world, some people didn’t understand why they use suchlong time, spend so many financial resourse even experience the accidentaldestruction and undertake the quite tremendous pressure to only conduct theOlympic

torch relay. I think we should regard as each Olympic Games torch relaytrasmission to be Olympic sprit popularization. We should consider it to be aplat form for humanity to exchange the fusion and melt contradictoy. So in theOlympic Games torch relay trasmission at this cerenomy, we cannot use thesimple thought completely to draw the conclusion, and we also cannot use theplain moue to carry on the operation. 30. Have you ever accomplished something that madeyou proud? Describe the experience and explain how it changed you I have ever accomplished something that made meproud. Two years ago, I did not like reading very much, I had plenty of time, but I spent lots of them on playing computer games. Unit 1-Conversation 1**(1)Janet: So this is the Cherwell Boathouse — it's lovely! And look at those people punting! It looks quite easy. Mark: I'm not so sure about that! Janet, there's something Kate and I wanted to discuss with you. Some people in college are organizing charity events this term. We've decided to get involved. Janet: Raising money for charity Right. In China, people raise money for charity but students don't usually do that. Mark: Students often do that here. Anyway, we're thinking of doing sponsored punting. Janet: Sponsored punting! What's that Kate: Sponsoring is when people pay you to do something — like run a long distance. So people would be sponsoring students to punt. Janet: What a great idea! I'd love to join you! Mark: That's why we're telling you about it. So that's decided then. Let's make a list of things we need to do. Kate: I'll do that. One of the first things we should do is choose the charity. Mark: Yes. And choose a day for the event. And we need to design the sponsorship form. I've got one here. Kate: That looks fine, but we must change the wording. Who wants to do that Mark: I'll do that. What have we got so far Kate: Choose a charity. Also a day for the event. Change the wording on the sponsorship form... Um ...
