五．Studying Abroad

In recent years, studying abroad has been popular and many Chinese middle school students are trying their best to go abroad. There are many advantages in attending schools abroad. Students who study abroad can not only make friends with people of different cultures but also learn much more advanced knowledge of science and technology from foreign countries, and moreover, they can learn foreign languages more quickly. However, there are also some disadvantages because most of the students are too young to live by themselves without any living experience and they may feel lonely and homesick because of being far away from their motherland, and most importantly, the costs are much higher there than at home. In spite of these, in my opinion, advantages are more than disadvantages.
