1教学目标

1. To be able to understand the conversation about weather.

2. To get specific information from the listening material.

3. To give the weather report and weather forecast.

2学情分析

学生在小学和初一下册时已经接触过天气的简单问答句式What's the weather l ike?---It's... What will the weather be like?---It will be...以及简单的天气形容词warm, hot, cool, cold, cloud, couldy, windy, rain, rainy, snow等。因此,在本节课我将以听说为主,让学生在旧知的基础上,将本节课所学的关于温度的表达融合进去,进行天气报道,并在学生操练之后,将天气预报渗透进教学当中,进一步的进行练说。在输入之后进行大量的输出活动,从而练习学生的听说能力,巩固运用所学知识,并充分体现英语的交际功能。

3重点难点

1. Key vocabulary: cloud, shower, snow, storm, cloudy, rainy, snowy, sunny, win dy, skate, thick, ice, joke, might, temperature, minus, degree,

2. Key sentences:

1) — What’s the temperature?

— It’s between minus five and minus two degrees!

2) — What’s the weather like in …? = How is the weather in …?

— It’s snowy (cloudy, rainy, sunny, windy ...).
