模具注塑齿轮的制造与模具英语专用词汇

注塑齿轮与机加工齿轮相比，除了利用渐开线共轭来传递运动这一点相同外，几乎没有其它共同之处。这两种齿轮具有本质上的区别。机加工齿轮是在为特定加工任务而设计的专用齿轮机床上切削加工至规定尺寸；注塑齿轮则是在齿轮模腔中注塑成形，该模腔通常用线切割放电加工机床（EDMs）加工而成。注塑齿轮模腔的尺寸大小可保证注模后经冷却收缩的注塑齿轮具有正确的尺寸公差。用一个模腔可以加工出上百万个注塑齿轮。

齿轮切削加工制造商承担的任务是按照公差要求切削加工出每一个齿轮。而注塑齿轮制造商面临的任务则是制造出一个接近完美的齿轮模腔，然后用这个模腔加工出所有符合公差要求的齿轮。这一看来虽小但却意义重大的差别导致了很多其它变化。这种差异在一旦决定采用注塑齿轮时就已形成。

齿轮注模工艺

各种注模工艺和注模机械都不尽相同。齿轮注模工艺对精确性和重复性要求较高。一般来说，高精度齿轮需要用新树脂制造。但即使使用新树脂，材料仍须具有合适的干燥度，其熔化温度必须精确控制并可重复，注塑压力也必须精确控制。还必须考虑注模装置与注模工艺过程控制的协调一致。

当在高温高压下进行注模加工时，熔化的塑料必须取代模腔中的空气。因此必须设立可让空气排出而树脂又不会流出的排气口。如果排气口太小，气体排出不畅，可能会引起燃烧；如果排气口太大，熔化的塑料将会流出，并在零件上形成飞边。

建议注塑齿轮用户在最终签订合同之前去访问一□□□塑齿轮加工厂。大致考察一□□□模设备情况、工厂的清洁程度、检测能力和人员配备等，这将有助于正确评价该厂是否具有成功进行注模加工和控制的潜在能力。例如，在一个没有温度控制的环境中是很难制造出精密注塑齿轮的。在湿度90%、温度华氏100°的情况下加工精密注塑齿轮极其困难。
