学生能听懂、会说Close/Open…及其应答语All right./OK等。
学生能听懂、会说常见物品a door, a window, a box, a basket。
学生能使用简单的祈使句表达“请别人干某事”的意思及进行应答。
学生能听懂并有韵律地诵读歌谣。
培养学生运用英语进行日常交际的勇气。

日常交际用语：Close/Open…及其应答语All right./OK等。
四、Difficult keys
学生能了解单词a basket 的读音，box 、book、books的区别。
学生能在具体的情景中灵活运用本课所学的日常交际用语进行交际活动。
五、Teaching suggestion
根据学生的认知规律，考虑到open和turn on、close和turnoff的意思相近，学生容易混淆，因此把一、二两幅图作为一教时，三、四两幅图作为另一教时。又因为open和 close 比turn on和 turn off容易上口。所以第一教时先教open和close，第二教时再教turn on 和 turn off的句型。
五、Teaching preparation
教具准备：磁带、录音机、实物：盒子、篮子、水果。盒子、篮子、门、窗的图片、一张第8单元47页的图，到同学家作客的图。
教学准备：在课前让学生学会May I come in? Come in, please.这两句话。
3、板书准备：在黑板上预先写好课题Unit 9 On and Off

Step one : Greeting and Revision

2.多媒体展示电影院、动物园等多幅图片，结合Unit8所学内容，请学生根据不同图片进行对话

2 、Show a box to the student.s
T: This is a box.教师打开盒子。教师引导学生说：“Open the box.”

教师做翻开书的动作，引导学生说：“Open the book.”随后学生操练Open the book，please. Work in pairs like this:
