公共英语等级考试三级口语准备及经验

对于备考PETS（公共英语等级考试）三级的同学们来说，口语考试跟笔试部分一样，决定着是否能拿到三级考试合格证书，任何考生只要参加PETS考试，均能得到成绩通知单，但只有笔试成绩和口试成绩均合格者，才能获得教育部考试中心颁发的PETS合格证书，所以我们的口试部分也是相当重要的。

口语测验主要考查英语的发音、词汇的运用、句型的熟练程度，最重要的是在模拟的情景中考查考生的英语思维和表达能力，如模拟人际交流、日常生活、个人情感等。给出特定环境，让考生发挥。口试一共分为三个部分，Part A是考官提问，两名考生分别作答，内容多关于个人信息。Part B是两名考生之间就一幅或几幅图片照片进行的完整小对话，内容涉及广泛，如旅游、节假日、购物、娱乐等主题。Part C同样是两名考生之间的对话，与part B不同的是，第三部分要求考生就某一个话题展开深入讨论，难度要高一些。下面笔者就考前的几个阶段给大家进行了安排，以供参考。

考前一个月

首先，按要求背诵四个模板（家庭、家乡、爱好、学习或工作），背诵要求如下：

1. 每段中要适时穿插语气词，如：well, you know, let me see, let me think about it, eh, I think等词，目的是使整段对话像是考生临时想出来的，而不是提前准备好的。

2. 把模板中不符合自身特点的内容换掉，放进符合本人性格特点的替换词，以使模板个性化。在不影响整段意思的前提下，可适当调换句与句的顺序。最好能适当加入自己本意句子，注：自己加入的句子要保证语法正确。

3. 要准备几个常用问题的链接句子，比如，问题是：你是北京人吗？(Are you local here?)我们都知道需要用家乡的这个模板，但不能上来就用原模板的第一个句子(I love my hometown which is Beijing.)，要有一句衔接，回答：是的，我是土生土长的北京人(Yes, I was born and raised here.或者I am a Beijing native.)然后进入到模板中。其他的模板道理一样。

回顾所有课上提及的单词，分类记忆。其次，对于大纲内的单词，每天保证至少半小时听英语的时间，不一定全部听懂，要求保证有语感。

考试前一周

每天做一篇关于特定主题的口语练习，七个主题如下：购物、旅游、电影（娱乐）、节假日（习俗）、文体活动、学校生活、环保。围绕这七个主题，先准备出来一些关于此主题中文想要说的句子，然后解决当中不会的生词进行翻译，提前查好字典，进行记忆，做到有话可说。

考试前一天

要准备好准考证件、身份证、各类文具，熟悉好考场、掌握好到场时间，尽量提前半小时到达考场，这样考生可以从容地做好各项准备，对稳定情绪也会有很大好处，避免紧张。另外提前到达考场可以和随机产生的partner进行一下感情交流，了解对方语言水平，扬长避短。

临考前一天晚上应该提早休息，以保证第二天有充沛的精力和良好的精神面貌。另外，我们知道口语考试的最终分数完全由两位考官决定，人为因素偏重，分数中会掺杂一些个人喜好，所以考生们要注意自己的言行举止，着装也很重要，不要太随便，或太过另类！

考试进行中

1．口试开始前

考生首先进入的是候考室，在进入候考室之前考生必须先出示相关证件（即身份证、准

考证）给工作人员，工作人员核实后并由本人在考生登记薄签名后方可进入候考室。考生进入候考室后要对号入座。在考生全部进入候考室后，工作人员会给每位考生一张口试计分卡。然后由考生根据本人实际情况将计分卡填写完整，待正式进入口试考场时交给口试教师。在填写口试计分卡的时候，一定要小心不要填错了。待正式考试开始时，工作人员会按考号叫考生进入口试考场，每次叫两名考生（如这个考区考生人数为单数，最后一组将有三名考生，顺序为循环式）。因此考生最好能在口试正式开始前能与自己的搭档（partner）进行初次交流，以便在口试中能互相合作、共创佳绩。值得一提的是，当你的考场有缺考的考生时，有可能你原定的partner会发生改变。因此，当你在候考室等待时一定不要闲着，应随时注意自己的partner是否改变了。

当考生被叫到口试考场时，你需要把自己的一切东西全部带走，因为你考过之后是不被允许再进候考室的。当口试考场中的考生从后门走出考场时，你和你的partner就必须进入考场了。记住一定不要紧张，要面带微笑。应平静地坐在口试教师示意你坐的地方，坐下的时候要自然，坐姿要端正。坐下后，考官会跟你说如下三句话：

Could you pass me your mark sheet please? （麻烦你递给我你的记分卡？）

May I have your name? （我能知道你的名字吗？）

My name is…,and this is… she/he will only listen to us. （我是……，这位是……，他/她只负责听我们说话。）

三句话次序可能会颠倒，但不妨碍大家听懂意思。这个时候也同样出现了我们说的“见缝插针”，对不说话的考官的一个示好的动作，记得说上一句：Good to see you.

你须将口试计分卡交给专事评分的老师，然后老师会确认一下计分卡上的信息。随后口试考试正式开始。

2．口试过程中

（1）与口试教师或同伴对话时要保持目光接触，保持自然恰当的表情、手势和形体动作。

（2）作为考生，你应该积极主动，多讲话，切忌一语不发地等着，问一句才答一句（当然也不要说起来没完没了）。对于一般疑问句的问题不要只答“Yes”、“No”，要把句子说完整，把一般疑问句改换成肯定句式，并适当加以简要的解释，不一定非要等到口试教师追问“why”时，再说话。

（3）在Part B部分要特别注意两点：一是口试教师是不参与讨论的，互动交际在你和另一位考生之间进行，你应该与他／她互相问答、讨论和交换看法，说话的时候应该面对的是他／她而不是口试教师；二是你和另一位考生都是来参加考试的，在讨论发言中应保持基本的机会均等。由于是临时组成的搭档，你与对方的英语水平可能会不同，如果他／她为了显示自己的水平、获得高分而不停地说，你要抢回自己的发言机会，因为两位口试教师是根据你的参与程度和英语表达评分的。你可以寻找机会，使用得体的交际语言打断同伴的发言，如“I’m sorry，but I have to interrupt” “Excuse me，I have to stop you” “Sorry，I think...”。当然，如果你的同伴比较沉默，你也不要自顾自地说下去，让口试教师因你的“霸道”而扣你的分数。你可以用某些特定的语句启发你的同伴开口发言，这样才是良好的交流。这类语句有“This is my point of view．What do you think” “Do you agree with me” “That’s my point．What’s your opinion”等。

（4）考试中应选择自己熟悉的东西或事情来说，否则可能会由于缺乏恰当的词汇而给自己造成麻烦。比如说如果需要回答或描述电视节目或者体育运动方面的问题或图片，选择一种比较容易表述的电视节目或体育运动要比选择你真正喜欢而描述难度比较大的节目或运动现实得多。

（5）回答问题或描述图片内容时要切题，不要说与题目内容无关、意义不大的话。

（6）考试过程当中，面部表情要与口中所说的内容相符合，该严肃的时候严肃、该活泼的时候活泼，否则就会很生硬，给人以背书的感觉。

3．口试结束之后

口试结束后，你应当用英语分别向两位口试教师道谢和告别，我们说过，这个时候是第三个见缝插针对不说话的考官示好的地方，给他们留下一个完整的好印象。因为是快结束了，很多考生就放松警惕了，在道谢和告别的时候往往就用起了中文，这是很严重的错误，切忌全程考试都要用英语进行，不要在最后一刻功亏一篑。可以跟考官建立良好的最终印象，比如：Thank you so much. Have a nice day. 表示对于考官辛勤工作的肯定。切忌在此时犯一些小错误，比如问考官分数，对于自己刚才考试的表现不满意而产生的一些不雅用语都是考生们需要注意的地方。当然出了考场就可以欢天喜地等待合格证寄到家里了。我们的口语考试也就圆满结束了。
