The statistics about museums and their visitors are precisely illustrated by the line chart. During the 3 years from 2013 to 2015, the figure of museums experienced a gradual rise, and soaring from 4.145 thousand to 4.692 thousand. Besides, following the same tendency, the number of museum visitors, as is shown, ascended gradually from 6.378 billion to 7.811 billion, increasing by about 1.43 billion.
The following factors, from my perspective, are responsible for the statistics. To begin with, aside from disseminating knowledge in schools, department concerned adopts other ways to promote the comprehensive quality of Chinese citizens, for instance providing more access to museums is a simple yet effective way to broaden visitors’ horizon. In addition, having been experiencing the unparallel ed material prosperity, most of Chinese citizens intend to pursue knowledge by visiting museums, tourist attractions and other places. Moreover, museums, which are supported by public funding, provide visitors with knowledge and professional service. Individuals, therefore, are inclined to enjoy their leisure time by visiting museums.
To summarize, the data shown by the chart objectively reflect what’s happening in our society. Museums undoubtedly exert indispensable effects on our society and Chinese citizens, and it is predictable that, in the next decade, both large cities and small towns will witness the popularization of museums.

I felt much honored when I received your invitation to give a presentation about Chinese culture to the international students of your college. I would much like to do this job. So I am writing to tell you something about the presentation to be given.
The focus of my presentation will be Chinese traditional festivals, such as the Spring Festival and the Mid-autumn Day. In the speech, I will introduce the origin and conventions of these festivals. For example, the Mid-Autumn Day, falling on the 15th of August in the Chinese lunar calendar, is a traditional Chinese holiday for family members and loved ones to gather together. In addition to enjoying the glorious full moon on this day, Chinese people will also eat festival-moon cakes, recite ancient Chinese poems as well as guess lantern riddles. The pie chart shows the distribution of the students' purposes of travel in a Chinese university. As can be seen, as much as 37% of the students travel to enjoy the scenery, taking up the largest share. 33% of the students want to relieve pressures in their journey, ranking the second. The remaining 30% was split up by cultivating the notion of independence, making friends and other purposes.
The survey result seems to show that travel is an important occasion for Chinese students to see the world's beautiful and grand scenery and to relax themselves. On one hand, with the prosperity of tourism, college students are exposed to a large amount of tourist information, which lure them to go out of the campus and see what the outside is like. On the other hand, pressures of study, employment and interpersonal relationships surge among college students. Under this circumstance, travel is a good way to find a temporary haven. After all, we do need to live elsewhere for a while to admire great scenery and escape from pressures.

Residents' Consumption during the Spring Festival
What is clearly presented in the above pie chart is the proportion of residents' consumption during the Spring Festival in a certain city of China. The consumption of New Year presents is the highest among the four categories, at about 40%. Meanwhile, the proportions of transportation are the same as that of dinner parties and others, at about 20%. Interestingly, the consumption of presents is twice of that they spend on other categories.
It is not difficult to come up with some possible factors accounting for this phenomenon. On the one hand, with the rapid development of economy, people live an affluent life. Solid economic foundation enables them to send valuable gifts to their relatives, friends and bosses. On the other hand, it is a
time-honored custom and courtesy to send gifts on a festival. As the idiom goes, "Courtesy on one side cannot last long". Therefore, reciprocity contributes to the Spring Festival consumption.
Given the analyses above, I firmly believe that sending presents should be upheld. However, residents should bear in mind that hard work and plain living is also our traditional virtue. Gre at importance should be attached to rationalize the consumption, combat extravagance and waste on festival presents.

Growing urban population and declining rural population
From the graph, we can see that the urban population was growing and the rural population was declining from 1990 to 2010. The number of the urban population rose from 300 million in 1990 to about 460 million in 2000, and to about 685 million in 2010, while the rural population decreased from about 820 million in 1990 to 800 million in 2000 and to about 690 million in 2010. It's obvious that in the past two decades, the urban area witnessed a steady growth, but in the latter decade, the rural population had a remarkable decline.
There are two reasons for this phenomenon. On one hand, the economic boom led to the regular improvement of people’s living standard, and further resulted in a steady growing urban population. On the other hand, from 2000, the countryside urbanization oriented by the government gave rise to a conspicuously declining rural population.
In conclusion, based on the above analysis, the urban population will be growing, while the rural population will continue to drop in the future.
