It shows us the daily life of people and the landscape of the captail, Bianjing. Now the painting is considered to be the most famous work among all Chinese paintings and it has been called”China’s Mona Lisa”. The “Bu Niantu”is also one of the China’s top ten most famous paintings. It is also the oldest painting painted on the silk. It is painted by Yan Liben to show the friendly meeting between the Tang Dyrasty and Tibet. The painting is 38.5 long and by 129 cm wide, it is now in the Palace Museum.
