Dear Mr. Mayor,

I am writing about the air pollution in Nanchang, which caused damage to the environment and even harm to our health.

There are two main factors contributing to the problem of air pollution. On the one hand, industrial pollution account for the problem to a major extent. On the other hand, the carbon produced by vehicles, especially private cars, is also a reason that should not be ignored.

I would like to make the following proposals to solve this problem. Firstly, it is necessary to strengthen the management on the factories in our city and control the waste gases let off by them. Secondly, we should develop the public transportation system, so that the citizens can depend less on their own cars. Last but not least, planting more trees is always a good choice to “clean”our city.

In short, it is our responsibility to protect the city. I would be grateful if the government could take some steps to solve this environmental problem.

Well I’d love to share with you something about my life. I was a director of labor relations for a big company ten years ago. And I should have been happy. I had everything that I thought I wanted.
