unit 1 school and friends

单元教材解读

本单元是初中英语教学的第一单元,是英语学习基础中的基础。本

单元内容围绕“学校”和“朋友”两个方面而展开。从自我介绍、交友

问候、学校场地、文具用语等基本英语表达入手,兼顾英语基数词zero-five和英语字母aa-pp, 从而为入学新生的基本交际和语言表达

能力训练准备好一个良好的开端,为以后的学习奠定扎实的基础。

单元知识结构

单元总体目标

通过本单元的教学,整体上使学生掌握基本的交际用语、1-5基数词的使用、字母a a- p p的读音和书写、be动词的人称转换以及学校

生活中的一些常见名词。通过反复练习对话、游戏等形式调动学生

学习积极性,使学生能够在日常生活中运用所学到的交际用语;对

数字的英语表达能够达到准确迅速的程度。应把握语言的实际运用

功能,培养学生口语交际的能力,同时巩固每个发音和语法知识点,为以后的学习打好扎实的基础。

单元教学重难点

教学重点:

1. 学习、掌握本单元的单词。

2. 学习、理解本单元的重点句型:招呼用语、交友问候、自我介绍、借东西、表达谢意、再见用语。

3. 字母a a- p p的读音和书写。

4. be动词am, is形式的用法。

教学难点:

1. be动词am, is形式的用法。

2. 使用基数词时相应的名词单复数的转换。如,one book, two books.

单元学情分析及教学建议

学情分析

虽然本单元是初中起始的英语教学的第一单元,但学生在平时的生

活中,通过电视、广播等已经对英语有了初步的接触。

作为刚入学的新生,一方面对学校和新同学好奇感兴趣,另一方面

也有陌生和羞涩感,

因此,应积极引导学生热情参与、互相认识对方,设计对话、游戏

等方式,提高学生学习语言和交朋友的主动性,把语言学习与学生

实际交际联系起来。

教学建议

1. 本单元内容贴近学生的学校生活,可以运用现实中的实物和事件,引导学生进行现场对话和游戏活动,充分调动学生的积极性,寓教

于乐,寓学于用。

2. 运用录音、多媒体的方式引导学生用学到的交际用语进行场景对话。

3. 利用挂图、图片等方式,对学生进行一些常见名词以及字母的认

读训练。

本课是新生开学后的第一堂英语课。教师可以根据师生间、学生与学生互不认识这么一个语境,引导学生学习打招呼的用语和自我介绍以及问对方姓名的基本句式。

主要采用情境教学的方法,由教师向学生打招呼并做自我介绍导入新课;通过师生间的一对一的对话和学生间的交流,让学生在实践中学习并掌握自我介绍、问对方姓名的基本句型。

绍,增加师生间、同学与同学之间的了解。

教学突破

本课的主要内容(招呼用语、自我介绍和问对方姓名的句型)非常实用,在生活中经常会用到。所以,教学过程中为学生创造多听多说的练习机会,通过听录音、跟读、模仿、对话、情境表演等方式让其在实际交流中掌握本课的内容。

step 1: class opening(导入)

1. 组织课堂,向学生打招呼并做自我介绍:hello!(引导学生做出

积极的反应:hello!)i’m … (在黑板上写出自己的名字)

2. 向一名学生打招呼:hello, i’m … (引导该生模仿教师的发音,

做出回应:hello! i’m …)以这种方式向其他学生打招呼,引导学生

模仿教师的发音使用hello! i’m …的句型来打招呼和介绍自己的名字。设计意图:通过这个环节让学生模仿并感知hello! im … 的意思,

为本课接下来的学习作好铺垫。

step 2: new concepts(探究新知)

1. 学习hello!部分的对话。

①学习单词name和句型my name is …。

教师引导:i’m …(指着黑板上自己的名字)这是我的…(学生回答:名字。)yes, this is my name. 这是我的名字。(板书:name)name, 名字。follow me. 跟我一起读:name(升调)name(降调)。(学生跟读,教师对学生的错误发音进行纠正)

②学习hello!部分的对话。

教师:(将教学挂图挂在黑板上)新学期开始,一个男孩和一个女

孩在学校里碰面了。他们都不认识对方。在这种情况下,他们会说

些什么呢?我们一起来听听。(播放录音)这个男孩说了什么?

(引导学生回答:he llo! i’m li ming.)这个女孩说了什么?(引导

学生回答:hello, li ming. my name is jenny.)从这个对话中,我

们知道了这个男孩叫… (学生回答:李明) 这个女孩叫… (学生回答:jenny)。very good! 介绍自己的名字时,我们可以说:my name

is … 也可以说:i’m … (在my name is …后面板书:= i’m … ) i’m

是i am的缩写(在i’m后面板书: =i am …),这是英语中常见的一种用法。

③对话练习。

让学生两人一组,用句型hello! i’m …/ my name is … 打招呼和介

绍自己的名字。然后,教师抽取部分学生上台表演。

设计意图:从单词到句子再到对话的学习和运用,降低了学生的学

习难度,增加学生学习英语的信心。

2. 学习what’s your name?部分的对话。

①学习句型what’s your name?

教师:(面向一个学生)hello! my name is … what’s your name? (引导学生回答:my name is …)

用相同的方式问其他学生,让学生感知what’s your name?的意思。教师:我们介绍自己的名字时可以说my name is …和i’m … ,那我

们想知道对方叫什么名字的时候,应该怎么问呢?(引导学生回答:what’s your name?)very good! 我们应该问:what’s your name? (板书:what’s your name?)now, follow me. 跟我读。what’s your name? (学

生跟读,教师纠正出现的错误发音)

②播放对话录音,让学生模仿跟读。

设计意图:通过听磁带进行模仿跟读,既有利于学生的听和说,又

有利于培养学生地道的语音语调。

step 3:games (游戏)

情境表演。

学生两人一组,运用句型:hello! i’m … / my name is … what’s your name? 表演对话。抽取部分学生在全班同学面前表演对话。

设计意图:让学生将所学运用于实际情境中,增强学生运用语言的

能力。

step 4:class closing(知识小结)

教师: 我们这节课学习了名字的单词,是…(学生回答:name) 我们

打招呼用…(学生回答:hello或hi, 板书:hello = hi) 我们还学了几个很重要的句型,是什么呢?讲的是什么意思呢?(引导学生回答)

设计意图:回顾总结,反复练习,加深记忆。

step 5:practice(巩固练习)

让学生在课下向自己的父母用英语介绍自己;主动大胆地向学校的

外教打招呼、介绍自己。

本课的内容非常基本和实用,并且贴近新生的生活。所以,教学中

教学设想

本课的主要内容是问候语的学习。教师可通过英语歌曲进行导入,

引出问候语的学习;然后通过讲解、示范、听录音、对话等方式让

学生巩固练习所学的问候语及其应答。教学目标

以相同的方式问其他学生的姓名,复习上节课的重点句型。

向学生讲解:how are you? 用于见面后的问候。表示的意思是“你

好吗?”
