In a big tunnel (管道), wind blows at a speed of 230 km/h. Kyra Poh, a 14-year-old girl from Singapore, is floating in the middle of it.
It seems crazy and dangerous, but in fact she is doing an extreme sport called indoor skydiving. She is very good at it. Poh became the “world’s fastest flyer” at the Wind Games, one of the sport’s biggest competitions. It was held in Spain on Feb 3 and 4. As the old saying goes, “A new broom sweeps clean.” Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, took office on Jan 20. Soon after that, the new president began using his power to make changes to the country by signing several executive orders (总统行政令).
The orders include the travel ban (禁令) on refugees (难民) and people from seven mainly Muslim countries, like Iraq and Syria. Trump believes this helps keep terrorism (恐怖主义) out of the US. It was a free trade agreement between 12 countries around the Pacific, including Australia, Singapore and Japan. TPP was the product of seven years of work under former US President Barack Obama. It aims to make trade easier among the 12 countries. But Trump wants to do trade deals with one country at a time, instead of in a big group like the TPP, according to The Independent《独立报》.

IF you miss out a meal, do you ever notice yourself starting to get angry or annoyed very easily? Well, this is often known as being “hangry” or being angry because you are very hungry.
But as it turns out, it’s not just a funny phrase, but it is scientifically true! Scientists found this feeling of anger usually comes from having low glucose (葡萄糖) levels in the blood. Glucose is put into the body after you eat.
The brain also needs this to work correctly. When the body is low on glucose, the brain sends hormones (激素) to increase the amount of glucose in the body. Brenda Bustillos, a dietitian at Texas A&M University, US, says this makes it hard for a person to control their feelings.
“Hunger leads to high stress hormones,” said Bustillos, “which makes it hard to manage our feelings.”
