Last Saturday, our class visited the Museum of the Anti-Japanese War. When our school bus arrived at the Museum, we got off and entered in line. The moment we went into the exhibition room, we were attracted by the pictures and descriptions about the war on the wall. Some students took notes while others had a little discussion. We were shocked at the cruelty of the war. Then we gathered in another room and listened to an old soldier telling the stories about the war. Therefore, we had a better understanding of the history.

Before we left, we all came to the front of the museum and took a picture with the old soldier in memory of our visit. We were very glad to meet such a true hero.

Our Wonderful Little Production

Last week we held a production-making activity in our school.

On Monday afternoon, my classmates and I had a discussion and we decided to make a model airplane to take part in the activity. During the following days we made full preparations after class. First we did some design work. Every one of us put forward ideas on how to make our plane fly high and steadily. According to the design, we bought necessary materials and began to work on it. Although it was really a hard job, we all did it with great enthusiasm. Two days later, a beautiful model airplane was born. On Friday afternoon, we flew our model airplane on the playground. Last Saturday morning, I got up early and planned to search for information for my investigative study in the library.

First, we surfed the Internet for the Hanfu’s original culture and different styles. With the information collected, we started to design our own Hanfu. Finally, when our show time came, I walked the runway wearing our elegant Hanfu and the audience cheered and even got onto their feet with wild applause.
