传统医学认为Ⅱ型糖尿病主要病因为胰腺功能减退、胰岛素分泌减少、胰岛素对糖的转

化能力降低而引起血糖升高,出现尿糖等,易形成心、脑、肾及外周血管病变。我们认为,

引发高血糖的主要原因不是因为糖类食品的摄入过多,而是高血脂症+低代谢综合症,ATP

一酶活力下降,糖的能量转化低下,细胞膜与血管内皮的离子通过障碍、糖的利用度减少,导

致血糖储存过多。过多的血糖又促进糖异生,转化成脂肪,脂肪代谢或蛋白质代谢增加,

产生能量较少,且产生毒素较多,形成三大代谢的恶性循环,促进血糖进一步升高,多脏器

衰竭。我们发现80%的Ⅱ型糖尿病病人β 一胰岛细胞分泌功能正常或亢进, C 肽正常或偏

高、血胰岛素正常或明显偏高,呈现胰岛素抵抗现象。单纯使用化学降糖药可干扰酶代谢,加

重半透膜损伤,抑制胰岛代偿,有可能加重胰岛素抵抗,进一步使血脂升高,临床也发现

长期使用胰岛素会加重动脉粥样硬化。

二月兰季羡林

二月兰是一种常见的野花,花朵不大,紫白相间。我在燕园里已经住了四十多年,最初我并没有特别注意到这种小花,直到前年,宅旁、篱下、林中、山头、土坡、湖边,只要有

空隙的地方,都是一团紫气,间以白雾,小花开得淋漓尽致,气势非凡,紫气直冲云霄,连

宇宙都仿佛变成紫色的了。

自从意识到二月兰存在以后,一些同二月兰有联系的回忆立即涌上心头。原来很少想到的事情,现在想到了;原来认为十分平常的琐事,现在显得十分不平常了。我一下子清晰地意识到,原来这种十分平凡的野花竟在我的生命中占有这样重要的地位。

我回忆的丝缕是从楼旁的小土山开始的。这种野花碰到小年,只在小山前后稀疏地开上

那么几片。遇到大年,则山前山后开成大片。二月兰仿佛发了狂。我们常讲什么什么花“怒

放”,这个“怒”字下得真是无比地奇妙。二月兰一“怒” ,仿佛从土地深处吸来一股原始力

量,一定要把花开遍大千世界,紫气直冲云霄,连宇宙都仿佛变成紫色的了。

东坡的词说:“月有阴晴圆缺,人有悲欢离合,此事古难全。”但是花们好象是没有什么悲欢离合的。应该开时,它们就开;该消失时,它们就消失。一切顺其自然,自己无所谓什

么悲与喜。我的二月兰就是这个样子。

然而,人这个万物之灵却偏偏有了感情,有了感情就有了悲欢。人自己多情,又把情移到花,“泪眼问花花不语” ,花当然“不语”了。如果花真“语”起来,岂不吓坏了人!这

些道理我十分明白。然而我仍然把自己的悲欢挂到了二月兰上。

当年老祖还活着的时候,每到二月兰开花的时候,她往往拿一把小铲,带一个黑书包,到成

片的二月兰旁青草丛里去搜挖荠菜。只要看到她的身影在二月兰的紫雾里晃动,我就知道在

午餐或晚餐的餐桌上必然弥漫着荠菜馄饨的清香。当婉如还活着的时候,她每次回家,只要

二月兰正在开花,她离开时,总穿过左手是二月兰的紫雾,右手是湖畔垂柳的绿烟,匆匆忙

忙走去,把我的目光一直带到湖对岸的拐弯处。我的小猫虎子和咪咪还在世的时候,我也往

往在二月兰丛里看到他们:一黑一白,在紫色中格外显眼。

所有这些琐事都是寻常到不能再寻常了。然而,曾几何时,到了今天,老祖和婉如已经永远永远地离开了我们。虎子和咪咪也不知钻到了燕园中哪一个幽暗的角落里,等待死亡的

到来。如今,天地虽宽,阳光虽照样普照,我却感到无边的寂寥和凄凉。

对于我这样的心情和我的一切遭遇,我的二月兰一点也无动于衷,照样自己开花。世事沧桑,于她如浮云。我想学习二月兰,然而办不到。不但如此,她还硬把我的记忆牵回到我

一生最倒霉的时候。在十年浩劫中,我被管制劳动改造,每天到一个地方去捡破砖碎瓦,还

呢?我的婉如到哪里去了呢?世界虽照样朗朗,阳光虽照样明媚,我却感觉异样的寂寞与凄凉。

我感觉到欢,又感觉到悲。

按说我早已到了“悲欢离合总无情”的年龄,应该超脱一点了。然而在离开这个世界以前,我

还有一件心事:我想弄清楚,什么叫“悲”?什么又叫“欢”?如果没有老祖和婉如的逝

世,这问题本来是一清二白的。现在却是悲欢难以分辨了。我想得到答复,走上了每天必登临的小

2002 年 4 月 26 日《人民政协报》以记者采访的形式发表了《王保平和他治疗心脑血管疾病
