海水对淡水蔬菜种子萌发与生长的影响

摘要:用不同体积分数的海水对淡水蔬菜瓜菜类与叶菜类种子进行浸种与培育,研究海水对淡水蔬菜种子萌发与生长的影响。结果表明,随着海水体积分数的升高,种子发芽率呈下降趋势。海水体积分数超过50%时,叶类菜种子比瓜菜类种子耐盐性强,在7种蔬菜种子中,海水对芹菜种子的萌发与生长影响较小。

Effects of Seawater on the Seed Germination and Growth

of Freshwater Vegetables

Abstract: Freshwater vegetables seeds of melon and leafy were soaked and cultivated by different concentrations of seawater to study the effects of seawater on the seed germination and growth of freshwater vegetable. Results showed that the rate of seed germination was decreased with the increase of seawater concentrations. When seawater concentration was over 50%, leafy vegetable seeds had stronger salt tolerance than melon seeds had. The seed germination and growth of celery was less affected by seawater.

海南有充足的海水资源和独特的热带自然条件,蔬菜瓜果品种多,生长季节长。然而海南陆地面积较小,利用海水资源培育新型海水蔬菜进行产业化生产,将成为海南经济新的增长点,应用前景十分广阔。海水蔬菜的培育,筛选出耐盐的蔬菜品种极为重要,通过挖掘蔬菜种质本身的耐盐能力筛选出耐盐品种,在海边栽培耐盐蔬菜,利用海水灌溉,对海洋资源与土地资源的充分利用和农业生产发展意义巨大。为此,选用瓜菜类黄瓜、茄子、番茄和叶菜类芹
