A:Is marriage out of date?More than a decade ago,this problem is undoubtable.But today, more and more people feel confused.Increasingly unstable family,diversity of values orientation, various forms of relationships are challenging people's judgment.What about your opinion?

B:In my view,marriage is an out-of-date institution.It’s no longer the source of happiness,but only the root of distress.

A:Why do you think so?I just can’t agree with you.

B:Because marriage brings a wide range of problems,such as economic disputes, family violence, extramarital affairs and divorces.Nowadays, the average age of people to marry is getting late and the divorce rate is increasing.It drives us to think that the marriage institution is no longer suitable for modern life and it is no longer a essential process to people's lives.According to a survey, the divorce rate of the generation after 80s has reached 30%.We know that they have entered the marriage only a few years. So why do people still want to get married.

A:That’s a question,nowadays,however,when people talking a bout marriage,the most frequently used words were:"When I was ill or injured, at least, there will be someone giving me medicine and handing a cup of water by my side." In your life, to ensure that cross wind and rain with you only the parents, but they are usually unable to accompany you through your life, children will be scattered,relatives and friends have their own families to take care of,welfare agencies are far from perfect,even as perfect as western countries,can enthusiastic volunteers replace a partner with you hand in hand to see the sunset?

B:Well,many people have a longer living-together time than their marriage,for example,royal,a french women politician had lived with her partner Hollande for 27 years and raised 4 children.“I am single,but not alone;I have a partner,but don’t get married."This state has become a fashionable choice.People choose to live together as husband and wife without getting married.This can not only avoid the marriage "trouble",but also enjoy the simple wonderful love.Without legal constraints,they are consensual and free.It can represent their true feelings of love.

A:Yes,cohabitation is pretty prevalent now,especially in European countries,for most Americans, however,to establish a happy family is still the most ideal state of life,which is the "American dream" they are looking for.And after all,people are gregarious animals,long for a sense of security.Cohabitation and not married, reflects people's fears of marriage.But,in fact,it is also a kind of marriage,is a kind of marriage without legal recognition,that still shows people are longing for social relations.

B:One fact we can’t igonre is that when in love,the two person have a emotional and romantic relationship.But once married,the couple will begin a monotonous life and they had to do trivial chores.The most trouble is marriage is not about two people,but two families,which means more responsibility.It is a burden and a long-term hard

work.Then a psychological gap will emerge.They would rather enjoy the freedom than get married.

A:I admit that now more and more modern people tend to a single life.But I still think,whether men or women,the role of marriage is still can’t be replaced.Because for single persons,marriage can bring them stability and safety/security.Some people think that single life is freedom, constantly change partners can bring more fresh,this is the most satisfied.But in fact,you can make sure the partner is healthy and trustworthy,could achieve a good communication,you can meet each other in the maximum limit.The achievement of these objectives,all need the support of a long-term stable relationship.

B:In 1978,28 percent of Americans believe that marriage is outdated.Now, this proportion had increased to 39%.They think that there exists a more flexible definition of family.Today, with the success of many forms of family life,marriage is no longer a unique way to get a long-term relationship.What’s more,so many people get out after they are besieged.
