2.1 Scope

2.1.1 This manual provides a general framework for Labor, Health and Safety, and the

Environment, respectively, and some standards relating to business ethics, and outlines

the elements of an acceptable system to manage conformity to EICC. 本手册对于公司劳

工、职业健康和安全、环境职责和相关的道德标准提供了一个基本的框架,并简要描述了建

立一个完整的EICC管理系统的基本要素。

3. Introduction to the ElCC Manual 手册的介绍

3.1 Introduction 简介

The EICC manual of the company (“this manual”) describes the general frame of E ICC System established according to EICC standard in Arnold (Shenzhen), including EICC policy, the organization structure and element of management system, responsibilities and authorities of every department, the interrelationship among functional departments.此EICC手册根据EICC标准要求简要的描述了建立系统的基本要求,包括方针、组织结构和EICC体系的基本要求、各部门的基本职责、职能部门的相互关系等。

3.2 Control of the Manual 手册的控制

3.2.1 General 一般要求

3.2.1.1 This manual is controlled per the Document and Data Control Procedure. 本手册

依照文件和资料控制程序要求控制。

3.2.1.2 This manual is issued either as controlled copy or as uncontrolled copy which is

identified on the cover sheet of this manual. 本手册的受控复印本或非受控复印本

通过手册的封面识别。

3.2.1.3 The controlled copies of this manual are issued to those departments which are

listed in the distribution list. 受控复印本分发的部门详列于分发清单。

3.2.1.4 The holders of controlled copies are responsible for providing their subordinates

reading and understanding this manual and assuring their subordinates

4. Labor Standards劳工标准

is committed to uphold the human rights of workers, and to treat them with dignity and respect as understood by the international community. 根据国际社会公认标准,承诺维护工人的人权,并尊重他们。

The labor standards are: 劳工标准是:

4.1 Freely Chosen Employment 自由选择职业

Forced, bonded or indentured labor or involuntary prison labor is not to be used in . All work will be voluntary, and workers should be free to leave upon reasonable notice. Workers shall not be required to hand over government-issued identification, passports or work permits as a condition of employment. 不使用强迫、抵债或用契约束缚的劳工,或者是非自愿的监狱劳工。

所有工作应当是自愿的,并且员工在合理通知的情况下拥有自由离职的权利。不得要求员工上交政府颁发的身份证、护照或工作许可证作为雇用的条件。

4.2 Child Labor Avoidance 避免使用童工

Child labor is not to be used in any factories. The term “child” is defined as younger than 16 years.在制造的任何阶段, 都不会使用童工。“童工”是指未满16 岁。

4.3 Working Hours 工作时间

Workweeks are not to exceed the maximum set by local law. Further, a workweek should not be more than 60 hours per week, including overtime, except in emergency or unusual situations.

Workers shall be allowed at least one day off per seven-day week. 工作周不应超过法律规定的最大限度。另外,除非是紧急或异常情况,一周的工作时间包括加班在内不应超过60 小时。每周七天应当允许工人至少休息一天。

4.4 Wage and Benefits 工资和福利

Compensation paid to workers shall comply with all applicable wage laws, including those relating to minimum wages, overtime hours and legally mandated benefits. In compliance with local laws, workers shall be compensated for overtime at 300% in mandated holidays, 200% in weekends and 150% in normal working days. Deductions from wages as a disciplinary measure shall not be permitted. The basis on which workers are being paid is to be provided in

a timely manner via pay stu

b or similar documentation. 支付给员工的工资应符合所有适用的工

4.6 Non-discrimination 不歧视

4.7 Freedom of Association 自由结社

is to respect the rights of workers to associate freely, join or not join labor unions, seek representatio n, join workers’ councils in accordance with local laws. Workers shall be able to communicate openly with management regarding working conditions without fear of reprisal, intimidation or harassment. 尊重员工的权利,包括依据当地法律自由结社、参加或不参加工会、寻求代表、参加工人委员会。员工应能够在不用担心报复、威胁或骚扰的情况下,公开地就工作条件与管理层沟通。

5. Health and Safety Standard 健康和安全标准

recognizes that the quality of products and services, consistency of production, and workers’ morale, are enhanced by a safe and healthy work environment. also recognizes that ongoing worker input and education is key to identifying and solving health and safety issues in the workplace. Everybody in the organization has the responsibility of health and safety as per Responsibility System for Safety Production. 认识到安全、健康的工作环境能够提高产品和服务的质量、生产的连贯性以及工人士气。另外,亦认为持续的工人投入和教育是鉴别并解决工作场所健康与安全问题的关键。公司的每个人都担负各自的健康安全管理的职责,详见《安全生产责任制》。The health and safety standards are:健康与安全标准是:

5.1 Occupational Safety 职业安全

Worker exposure to potential safety hazards (e.g., electrical and other energy sources, fire, vehicle, and fall hazards) are to be controlled through proper design, engineering and administrative controls, preventative maintenance and safe work procedures (including lockout/tagout). Where hazards cannot be adequately controlled by these means, workers are to be provided with appropriate personal protective equipment. Workers shall not be disciplined for raising safety concerns. 应通过正确的设计、工程技术和管理控制、预防保养和安全操作程序(包括锁死/标出)去控制员工在工作场所会遇到的潜在危险(如电器和其他能源、火、车辆、滑倒、绊倒和坠落危险),若无法通过上述方法有效控制危险源,应为员工提供适当的个人防护装备。

5.2 Emergency Preparedness 应急准备

Emergency situations and events are to be identified and assessed, and their impact minimized by implementing emergency plans and response procedures, including: emergency reporting, employee notification and evacuation procedures, worker training and drills, appropriate fire detection and suppression equipment, adequate exit facilities and recovery plans. 应确认并评估紧急情况和事件,以及通过实施应急方案和应变程序来将其影响降到最低,包括:紧急报告、通知员工和撤离步骤、工人培训和演练、适当的火灾探测和灭火装置、充足的出口设施和恢复计划。

5.3 Occupational Injury and Illness 职业伤害和职业病

Procedures and systems are to be in place to manage, track and report occupational injury and illness, including provisions to: a) encourage worker reporting; b) classify and record injury and illness cases; c) provide necessary medical treatment; d) investigate cases and implement corrective actions to eliminate their causes; and e) facilitate return of workers to work. 制定程序和体系来管理、跟踪和报告职业伤害与疾病,包括以下规定:a)鼓励员工报告;b)归类和记录伤害和疾病案例;c)提供必要的治疗;d)调查案例并执行纠正措施以消除类似情况;e)协助员

5.4 Industrial Hygiene 工业卫生

Worker exposure to chemical, biological and physical agents is to be identified, evaluated, and controlled. When hazards cannot be adequately controlled by engineering and administrative means, workers are to be provided with appropriate personal protective equipment. 应当鉴别、评定并控制由化学、生物以及物理因素给员工带来的影响。当无法通过工程技术和管理手段有效控制危险源时,将为员工提供适当的个人防护装备。

5.5 Physically Demanding Work 体力需求高的工作

Worker exposure to physically demanding tasks, including manual material handling and heavy lifting, prolonged standing and highly repetitive or forceful assembly tasks is to be identified, evaluated and controlled. 应当鉴别、评估并控制从事高体力劳动工作给员工带来的影响,包括人工搬运材料和提举重物、长时间站立和高度重复或强力的装配工作。

5.6 Machine Safeguarding 机器防护

Physical guards, interlocks and barriers are to be provided and properly maintained for machinery used by workers. 应当为工人所使用的机械提供物理防护装置、联动装置以及屏障,并正确地进行维护。

5.7 Dormitory and Canteen 宿舍和餐厅

Workers are to be provided with clean toilet facilities, access to potable water and sanitary food preparation and storage facilities. Worker dormitories provided by are to be clean, safe, and provide emergency egress, adequate heat and ventilation and reasonable personal space. 承诺为员工提供干净的卫生间设施、饮用水以及清洁的食物预备和存储设施。并确保宿舍干净、安全,并提供紧急出口、充足的供暖和通风以及合理的私人空间。

6. Environmental Standard 环境标准

recognizes that environmental responsibility is integral to producing world-class products. 6.1 Environmental Permits and Reporting 环境许可和报告

6.2 Pollution Prevention and Resource Reduction 污染预防与资源节约

Waste of all types, including water and energy, are to be reduced or eliminated at the source or by practices such as modifying production, maintenance and facility processes, materials substitution, conservation, recycling and re-using materials. 应在在源头上或通过实践减少和消除所有类型的耗费(包括水和能源),如改进生产、维护和设施工艺、替换材料、节约自然资源、材料回收和重用。

6.3 Hazardous Substance 有害物质

Chemical and other materials posing a hazard if released to the environment are to be identified and managed to ensure their safe handling, movement, storage, recycling or reuse and disposal. 应当识别和控制释放到环境中会造成危险的化学物质及其他物质,以确保这些物质得到安全的处理、运输、存储、回收或重用和处置。

6.4 Wastewater and Solid Waste 废水和固体废物

Wastewater and solid waste generated from operations, industrial processes and sanitation facilities are to be monitored, controlled and treated as required prior to discharge or disposal.

经营、工业加工以及卫生设施所产生的废水和固体废物,在排放或处置之前应按照要求进行监控、控制和处理。

6.5 Air Emission 气体排放

Air emissions of volatile organic chemicals, aerosols, corrosives, particulates, ozone depleting chemicals and combustion by-products generated from operations are to be characterized, monitored, controlled and treated as required prior to discharge. 在运营过程中产生的挥发性有机化学物质、气雾剂、微粒、臭氧消耗化学品以及燃烧副产品等空气排放物,在排放之前应按要求辨别、监控、控制和处理。

6.6 Product Content Restrictions 产品含量限制

7. ElCC Management System Requirements 管理系统的基本要求

7.2 Management Accountability and Responsibility 管理职责与责任

The ElCC Aspects has identified a company representative responsible for ensuring implementation and periodic review of the status of the EICC management systems. 为EICC的运行任命了管理者代表,以确保系统的运行和定期的评审。

7.2.1 Ensuring that a conformable system is established implemented and maintained in

7.5 Performance Objectives with Implementation Plan and Measures 附有实施计划和措施的绩效目标

89C51 Microcontroller Introduction Microcontrollers are used in a multitude of commercial applications such as modems, motor-control systems, air conditioner control systems, automotive engine and among others. The high processing speed and enhanced peripheral set of these microcontrollers make them suitable for such high-speed event-based applications. However, these critical application domains also require that these microcontrollers are highly reliable. The high reliability and low market risks can be ensured by a robust testing process and a proper tools environment for the validation of these microcontrollers both at the component and at the system level. Intel Plaform Engineering department developed an object-oriented multi-threaded test environment for the validation of its AT89C51 automotive microcontrollers. The goals of this environment was not only to provide a robust testing environment for the AT89C51 automotive microcontrollers, but to develop an environment which can be easily extended and reused for the validation of several other future microcontrollers. The environment was developed in conjunction with Microsoft Foundation Classes (AT89C51). The paper describes the design and mechanism of this test environment, its interactions with various hardware/software environmental components, and how to use AT89C51.
