一、课题背景、意义及介绍

1、背景说明（怎么会想到本课题的）：

动物是人类的朋友，在地球上动物和人类和平共处已很久了，人类从动物身上学到了很多人类所没有的本领，但是人类为了发展经济而去杀害动物，所以现在保护动物及其生存已经是一个重要的话题了。高中英语必修二UNIT4就是围绕关于“保护动物”的话题展开教学的。

2、课题的意义（为什么要进行本课题的研究）：

学生们很小就喜欢去动物园看动物，在电视上看“动物世界”节目，但是如果要用英语比较各种动物的特点，并了解动物的习性，还要学会用英语询问他人最喜欢什么动物，并问原因和说明原因。通过对本课题的研究可让学生从中了解更多动物方面的知识，增强对濒危野生动物的保护意识。

3、课题介绍

人类对动物的研究始终没有停止过脚步，研究得越深入越发现动物的一些特性是人类无法超越的，人类就利用仿生学模仿动物的优势功能为人类服务，所以各类动物的特点，生活习性、寿命等等的比较都是学生十分感兴趣的话题。所以本课题具有很大

的研究价值。

二、研究性学习的教学目的和方法（可按新课程标准的三维目标（或布鲁姆目标分类法）进行研究性学习的教学目和方法的阐述）

1．知识与技能

1）知识目标：能听、说、读、写本课四会单词和句子。

2）技能目标：会询问动物的特点以及喜欢某个动物原因及原因说明。还可谈论和动物相关的其他话题，如：濒临灭绝的动物、环境污染和环境破坏对动物的影响、环境保护对人类和动物保护的重要性等。

2．过程与方法

(1)利用课件等媒体资源，让学生初步掌握一些动物的词汇，如：cheetahs,turtles,parrots,eagles,sharks,whales等以及对自己最喜欢的动物及原因用形容词或副词比较级进行描述。

（2）通过小组上网查找资料，了解感兴趣的动物的名称及其主要习性比较，并最终用英语表达出来。

（3）情感态度与价值观

（1）通过查资料，围绕动物这个话题开展讨论等活动，让学生了解更多关于动物保护和各种动物习性上的差异性，培养学生热爱动物，保护动物物种，使人类与动物和谐相处，共建美好

的地球家园！

（2）培养学生自觉运用网络资源辅助英语学习的能力；注重小组内个体学生学习和小组协作相结合，培养学生的沟通和交流学习的能力。

（3）通过活动，增强相互关心，团结协作的精神。

三、参与者特征分析（重点分析学生有哪些共性、有哪些差异，尤其对开展研究性学习有影响的因素。）

1．高中一年级的学生，掌握了一定的英语单词和句型，可阅读一般的英语文章。

2．随着知识的积累和对事物体验的深化，高一学生更注重对事物的分析和主观体会，可以自己做出对问题的回答，并会主动扩大自己的知识面，积极进取掌握更多的社科、人文方面的知识。

3．高一年级学生具有一定的计算机操作能力。

四、研究的目标与内容（课题研究所要解决的主要问题是什么，通过哪些内容的研究来达成这一目标）

本课的研究活动在于引导学生在开放、合作的环境中了解更多与动物相关的知识，并研究如何将这些知识更好地应用于现实生活中。通过小组合作，共同收集相关的动物及其习性的资料，通过制作PPT，建立QQ群等活动进行相互交流，以达成研究和

学习的目标。

总结反思：活动过程中我给了范例以及活动要求，大多数学生都能认真执行，积极参加到活动中来，只有极少数学生态度不够积极且行动迟缓，在规定的时间内没有及时完成表格的填写。

改进意见：1.要进一步明确小组的活动要求，强调小组活动必须是组内所有成员共同参与，不能有一个同学掉队，组内成员要精诚团结和协作。

2.要细化评价量表，对组内每个成员的活动情况进行评价。

3.关注参与积极性不高的同学，对他们进行耐心的个别指导，鼓励他们积极参与到活动中来。
