Teaching Aids: a tape recorder, picture cards , objects , words cards Teaching Steps:

A. Organization:

1. Sing an English song

2. Have a free talk

B. Revision:

1. Show the cards to the class and ask the pupils to read and spell the

words.

2. Make dialogues.

C. Presentation:

1. Show any of the topic vocabulary objects in the brochure.

Point to any of the named things I can see from the

classroom window. Such as trees, grass and flowers.

2. Teach the concept of the uncountable nouns by drawing

lost of blades of grass labeling it grass.

3. Show Transparency and pla3' the Pupil's Book Cassette.

Point to the speech bubbles when the characters speak.

Continue to play the cassette and ask the pupils after the

beeps. Do the same to with the vocabulary items.

D. Consolidation:

1. Show Transparency. Point to the objects on the page and

practice saying the new words.

2. Read the children's speech bubbles. Get the pupils to point

to the correct objects.

3. Make sentences using I can see.., for the other objects Get

the pupils point to the correct objects.

4. Point to the object. Tell the pupils to make a sentence using

I can see. and the name of the objects with the correct

indefinite articles or without an article.

5. Play a game.

E. Summing up

1. Encourage the pupils to ask some puzzled problems about the

lesson

2. Ask the class to read the section one once aloud

F. Assignment of the homework

Listen to thc tape and repeat the sentences several times.

Most pupils can master the words well. But some of them felt difficult to pronounce the word “clown”. They need to read these words more.

Teaching Steps:

A. Organization:

1. Sing an English song

2. Free talk

B. Revision:

1. Revise the words by playing a game:

Teacher prepares a flower. Play the music and let pupils

pass the flower one by one with the music. As the music stops

the .one with the flower need to say a sentence. He will win

one point.

C. Presentation:

1. Ask a tall pupil to stand looking of the window. Stand in a

place where I cannot see out of the window. Ask the pupil

What can you see ?

2. Ask one pupil to sit with their back to the window and

another pupil to look out of the window. Get the sitting

pupil to ask What can you see? and the other one to

answer, using I can see..

3. Ask the pupils to work in pairs. One sits facing the board,

the other sits with their back to the board. Draw something

on the board..

D. Consolidation:

1. Show Transparency. Play pupil's Book Cassette. The

pupils listen and follow in their books.

2. Point to the things in the girl's bubble .Help the pupils to

complete her sentences.

3. Ask the pupils to work in pairs to role-play the clowns and

to tell you what they say.

4. Invite pairs of pupils to come to the front and act the

conversations.

E. Summing up

Go over the patterns.

F. Assignment of the homework

Listen to the tape five minutes.

1. Sing an English song

B. Revision:

1. Show the cards to the class and ask the pupils to read and spell.

2. Encourage some pupils to read the sections A-B

C. Presentation:

1. Point to the characters in the pictures and read their speech

bubbles aloud .Ask the pupils to point to the speech

bubbles as you read them.

2. Play the Pupil's Book Cassette for the pupils and ask them

to say the sentences after thc cassette.

3. Ensure the pupils know that the older mouse cannot see.

4. Ask three pupils to come up and play the roles of the two

mice and the cat.

5. I may use story cards to revise sequence and language of

the story.

D. Consolidation:

1. Ask the pupils to role play the story in groups of three and

read the characters' speech bubbles. Some groups may like

to come out to the front and act Se story. Make the hole in

a tree with chairs.

2. Play a game.

E. Summing up

1. Give the pupils two or three minutes to ask questions about

the lesson

2. Ask the class to read the section one once aloud

The writing of the patterns.

Teaching Aids: a tape recorder, picture cards

A. 0rganization:

1. Free talk

2. Read English rhymes.

B. Revision:

1. Show the cards to the class and ask the pupils to read and

spell the words

2. Encourage some pupils to role-play section A

C. Presentation:

1. Ask the pupils to read the story again. Read the sentences

under the pictures with pupils

2. Demonstrate how to write the correct numbers in the boxes

next to the pictures. Cheek answering using Transparency

3. Play the tape twice and then let pupils sing songs after the

tape.

D. Consolidation:

1. Ask the pupils to look at the pictures and listen to the

workbook Cassette.

2. Tell the pupils to write the correct letters in the boxes

according to the language they hear on the cassette..

E. Summing up

1. Give pupils two or three more minutes to ask any questions they like

about the lesson
