语法填空专项练习三代词(1)

代词的定义:代词是代替名词或一句话的一种词类。大多数代词具有名词和形容词的功能。英语中的代词,按其意义、特征及在句中的作用分为:人称代词、物主代词、指示代词、反身代词、相互代词、疑问代词、关系代词、连接代词和不定代词九种。

代词在语法填空中的考查方式有两种情况,一是像(人称代词、物主代词、反身代词这样的词为给出提示词的形式考查,有时在一些固定搭配或常用口语中,也会以纯空格的形式来考查,但情况较少。二是像指示代词、相互代词、疑问代词、关系代词、连接代词和不定代词常已纯空格的形式考查。

本次复习主要先着重掌握人称代词、物主代词、反身代词。其考查形式多为给出提示词,但在一些常用语、谚语或日常用语中常以纯空格的形式考查。

人称代词、物主代词、反身代词

一、表示" 我、你、他、她、它、我们、你们、他们" 的词叫做人称代词。人称代词有主格和宾格之分,主格做主语,宾格做宾语,也可以做表语或同位语。有时人们常用she/her指代船只、汽车、国家、城市、家乡等,以表达其喜爱之情。注:在电话中this代替我,that代替你,如: --Is that --- Yes, this is he.

二、表示“我的、你的、他的、她的、它的、我们的、你们的、他们的”这种所有关系的代词叫做物主代词。物主代词可分为形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词两种。形容词性物主代词置于名词之前做定语,名词性物主代词相当于名词,(=形容词性物主代词+名词)

如:---Whose bag is it --- It’s my bag .= It’s mine.

三、表示“我自己、你自己、他自己、她自己、它自己、我们自己、你们自己、他们自己”等的词叫做反身代词。反身代词第一, 二人称构成是由形容词性物主代词加"-self " (复数把f变为v再加es, -selves )。

解题技巧:1. 做主语就填主格; 2.做动词或介词的宾语就填宾格;

3.表示所有关系就填物主代词,(或是一些固定短语中,如常考的有:earn one’s living 谋生,keep one’s word守信,lose one’s way迷路,change one’s mind改变主意,make up one’s mind下决心,try one’best尽某人最大努力,to one’s+情感名词令某人...的是,on one’s way to 在去...的路上,feel one’s way 摸黑走,meet one’s need满足某人的需要等);

4.表示某人自己就填反身代词;句意要表达某人自己之意时,就填反身代词;(这些都是常以给出提示词的形式考查)

5.人称代词、物主代词和反身代词以纯空格的形式考查情况

四、it 的用法 (常以纯空格的形式来考查)

it是第三人称单数“它”的主格和宾格,在句中可充当主语、宾语和表语。具体用法如下:

1.作为第三人称单数,指代动物或物品

如: ---- What’s it --- It’s a cat/ book.

2.指代上文提到的事物、群体或想法等。

如:---- Where is my dictionary ---- I left it at home. --- I broke a cup. --- It doesn’t matter.

3.指代性别不明的人,也可指代谈话双方都心知肚明的事。

如” The baby cried beacuse it was hungry. ---Who is knocking at the door --- It’s the milkman.

4.指时间、天气、距离或环境等。

如: It is nine o’clock now. It is rainning hard outside. It is a long way to the factory,

作形式主语,常见结构有:

It is/was no use/good/fun doing sth. 做什么事是(没有)有用的/ 有好处的/有乐趣的

It is/was +adj.(difficult, hard,important, possible, necessary, easy, not easy, impossible,kind等)+ (for/of sb.) + to do sth. 做什么事(对某人来说)是......的。

It is /was a pity that.....可惜的是.... It is/was a fact that..... 事实是..... It is/was no wonder that.....难怪....

It is/was certain that..... 一定是.... It is/was necessary that..... 有

必要.....

It is/was strange that... 奇怪的是... Ir seems/ appears(seemed/ appeared) that.... 似乎,好像....

It happens/ happened that... 碰巧 It turns/turned out that.... 结果是

It is/was+过去分词(believed / reported/ said/suggested/ thought等)+ that....

人们相信.../ 据报道.../ 据说.../ 有人建议.../ 大家认为...

It takes/took sb.+时间/金钱 + to do sth. 做...事花费某人多少时间或金钱

作形式宾语,常见结构有:

(1)主语+find/ believe/ make/ think/ feel/ notice+ it+adj+ to do sth./ 名词性从

如:I find it easy to get on with Jim. I have made it clear that nobody is allowed to smoke here.

(2) 在某些习惯用法中,如在hate, like, love, appreciate 等词后,接由if或when

引导的从句时,往往用it 作形式宾语。如: I hate it when people speak with their mouths full.

I would appreciate it if you could come to my birthday party.

(3) 其他常用句式:

强调句型: It is/ was +被强调部分+that+ 句子其他成分。

某人第几次做某事: It is the first /second....time + that从句(从句时态用现在完成时)

It was the first/ second...time+ that从句(从句时态用过去完成时)

该到某人做...的时候了: It is (high/about) time+ that 从句(从句时态用过去式或“should+动原)

过多久才...: It was/ will be +时间段+ before......

不久...就....: It was not/ will not be +时间段+before......

自从...以来有: It is / has been+ 时间段+since.... (since后的句子时态常用一般过去时)

(在过去说)自从...以来有: It was +时间段+since.... (since后的句子时态常用过去完成时)

如: It is five years since I enjoyed the delicious cake. It was five years since her father had died.

带it 的习语

take it for granted that.... 认为...是理所当然的 see to it that.... 务必.... depend on it that... 依靠...
