教学目标

1.能够听、说、读、写Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds.

2.将上面的句型进行替换,如:Where does the cloud come from? It comes from the vapour. 从而能就水的循环进行提问及简单回答,使学生初步了解水循环的过程。

3.能够用故事的形式表述雨水的形成,完成Task time部分。

4.进一步培养学生热爱大自然的美好情感,增强环保意识的同时培养爱科学、好钻研的精神。

【课题】Unit 6 The story of rain

【教学重点】

1.重点掌握句型:Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds. 要求学生能从听、说、读、写四方面掌握。

2.学生能替换关键词造新句,如:Where does the cloud come from? It comes from the vapour.并能在水循环的整个过程自如运用。

3.简单了解面包、面粉和小麦三者之间的关系。

【教学难点】Let’s try 部分是教学难点,内容多,词汇量大。建议教师多放几遍录音,适时给学生以提示。

【教具准备】

1.教师准备Let’s try 部分的挂图。

2.教师准备第一课时所学的单词卡。

3.教师准备雨水循环的教学课件。

4.教师准备水循环实验仪器:酒精灯一个,盖量杯一个,水等。

5.学生准备水彩笔,胶水,剪刀等工具。

【教学过程】

1、Warm up (热身)

活动一:口语展示

教学参考时间:2-3 分钟

给学生时间,展示自己的口语水平。内容可以是自我介绍也可以是对话表演或图片讲解。主要是将所学知识进行综合运用。例:I am a boy / girl. I’m in Beijing Primary School. I’m from Beijing, China. I like nature. There are rivers, clouds, mountains, forests, flowers, animals and so on in nature. There are many colors in nature, too. They are white, blue, green, red, yellow and so on. I like these. I like natur e, I like world.

其他学生根据刚才口语展示同学所说内容进行问答练习。如:

What’s in nature?

Does she like nature?

How many colors are there in nature?

Where does he / she come from?

….

活动二:唱一唱

教学参考时间:1-2 分钟

教师播放歌曲Little Water Drop的录音,师生共同跟唱。

2、Review (复习)

活动三:记忆大比拼

教学参考时间:2-3 分钟

1.教师依次出示Let’s start 和A Let’s learn 部分的单词卡片sun,river,sea,snow,stream cloud,v apour,rain学生齐读后张贴在黑板上。

2.教师迅速拿走一张卡片,让学生说说被拿走卡片的内容并拼读单词。

3.用同样的方法完成其它单词的拼读。

3、Presentation (呈现新知)

活动四:听一听

教学参考时间:3-4 分钟

1.教师提问:What do you have for breakfast? 请学生回答。教师继续说:I usually have bread and milk for breakfast. Do you like bread? Where does bread come from?

2.教师出示Let’s try 部分的挂图,手指面粉和小麦的图,让学生猜一猜:What’s this?

3.教师播放Let’s try 部分的录音,内容如下:

----Where does bread come from?

----Bread comes from flour.

----Where does flour come from?

-----Flour comes from wheat.

----Where does wheat come from?

---- Farmers plant the seeds of wheat. Then the plant grows. Then we get wheat.

----Wow! I thought bread comes from the store!

4.再次播放录音,本次听的过程中教师可以就一些新的语言做适当的讲解。

5.教师带领学生完成听音编号的练习。

6.完成标号练习后,教师指着本部分的三幅图问:Where does bread / flour come from? 引导学生回答:It comes from ….
