Standard Logic Lead-Free Status
? We will start mass-producing lead-free versions of the standard logic ICs in DIPs from April, 2004. ? We will be producing only lead-free versions of standard logic products in CMPAK, VSON, and 8-pin SSOP from April, 2004. However, please understand that even after April, products with the conventional specifications may be shipped. This will depend on the situation of our inventory.
Besides the packages mentioned above, the change to lead-free packages has already taken place in some cases and will soon take place in the others. Please consult your nearest Renesas sales office for details.
The lead-free status of standard logic ICs is described in detail below.
