一、教材分析
本课是外研社新标准英语(三起)六年级下册Module8 Unit2 Why are you wearing a hat ?在本课中,学生要学会运用Why …? Because...等已学语言询问和说明原因。学生在以前已经学过了why 和because。对于这两个词已经有了一定的理解。在本单元将新旧知识结合起来,提高学生的综合语言运用能力。
二、教学目标
1. 语言知识
全体学生能运用新授单词:raincoat
并能熟悉地运用句型Why are you ... ? Because ...询问和说明原因。
2. 情感态度
学生能有一定的学习兴趣,能有良好的学习习惯和有效的学习方法,能有自主学习的能力,能敢于开口，表达中不怕出错误，在活动中能与其他同学积极配合和合作。
3. 学习策略
在课堂交流中,注意倾听,积极思考。
4. 文化意识
在学习和日常交际中能感受到外国文化的气息。
三、教学重点
1.学生能听懂、会说并认读单词：raincoat
2.学生能听懂、会说并认读句型:Why are you ... ? Because ...
四、教学难点
1.恰当准确的使用because 回答别人有关原因的提问。
2.正确使用句子的时态。

Step 1 Warm-up
T: Class begins!
Ss: Good morning ,Ms Li.
T: Good morning, boys and girls!

T: How are you, today?

T: What’s the weather like?
Ss: It’s sunny.

T: Today we are going to learn M8U1 Why are you wearing a hat?
Ss：Read the title twice.
设计意图：创设情景，导出课题，激起学生的兴趣。
Step 3 presentation
Part A
T: Look at the screen! What will the weather be like, ×××?
S: It will rain.
T: what’s this, ×××?
S: It’s a coat.
T: Look at the picture，and how to say this word“raincoat”？
Ss：Raincoat.
T: Read the new word and do some actions.
Ss: Read after the teacher and do some actions.
T:抽查整组的读音。
设计意图：通过旧单词引出新单词，从而吸引他们的注意力。

设计意图：游戏教学是一种激发并保持小学生英语学习兴趣的重要途径,在课堂教学中合理、巧妙地设计游戏活动能有效地提高教学效果。
Part B
T: Pair work. Now look at four pictures and talk about them with your partner. One , two, go!

设计意图：培养学生自主学习和团结合作的能力。

T:Show pictures to the students, and ask the students to answer(picture1, picture2, picture3,picture4).

设计意图：通过观看录像，使学生形象地理解课文内容。遵循循序渐进，由简
入繁的原则，能有效地帮助学生学习并掌握本课内容。
Step 4 Practice
抽奖环节——从盒子里面抽出一种物品，并用why 和because 来创设情景对话。eg：抽出物品egg。
A：Why are you eating an egg?
B: Because I’m hungry.
设计意图：此活动为了培养学生自主创新的能力。在活动中，学生可以摸出自
己喜欢的物品进行对话，充分满足学生的表现欲望。
Step 5 Extension
Sing a song and do some actions.
设计意图：轻松歌曲可以缓解学生上课的紧张情绪，有节奏地歌唱和加上相应
动作，会为课堂营造浓烈氛围。在唱歌的过程中也能进一步巩固今天所学的知识。
Step 6 Summary
再一次指出这节课所学主要内容：用Why…?和Because…询问原因及回答。
Step 7 Homework

九、教后反思：
1、根据学生心理及认知特点设计教学。
整节课的教学，我针对小学阶段儿童生性活泼、好动、好奇、喜欢亲身经
历的心理特征及教学内容的特点，采用了全身动作法、情景教学法、游戏活动
法等多种教学方法。通过学习，学生能够用Why…?和Because…询问原因及回答。并且能自主创设真实情景进行句子的实际运用。在学习及操练过程中，锻
炼了六年级学生的合作能力和参与意识，鼓励他们积极地参与、大胆地表达，
培养学生学习英语的良好习惯，提高学习英语的兴趣。
2.表扬方式
这节课我主要使用口头表扬的方式“good”，“ very good”，“wonderful”，等语言鼓励学生，在抽奖环节我还设计了一些礼物作为奖励，学生很容易得到满足，这是肯定学生最简单而又有效的方法。
当然在本课教学中，也存在着一些不足和遗憾之处，引发我的思考。
（1）要多关注差生，对一些不爱举手发言、比较害羞的学生，教师还要多给他们表现的机会，课堂上要及时鼓励、表扬他们，以消除自卑的心理，增强
他们学英语的自信心。
( 2 )当学生的英语表述不畅时，需要耐心地引导、鼓励。
