我在北大听讲座

Confucius Institute VOLUME 44 | NO. 3 MAY. 2016我喜欢历史，尤其是中国历史，这是我选择来华留学的原因之一。北大，这所中国顶级学府，云集了众多大师，通过他们的讲述，我可以尽情徜徉在历史文化中。

我的专业是对外汉语，简而言之就是教外国人学中文。我认真学习汉语，希望把它作为工具去打开中国几千年文化的大门。在我看来，历史就像一部一生都看不完的长篇小说，让我们了解曾经在人类社会上发生过的事情，而去听讲座，是最容易从这部小说中汲取精华的方法。

作为泰国人，我必须对自己的家园有所了解。同样，对于中国人来说，要去国外做对外汉语教师也得知道别国的风土人情，所以我们学院也开了关于历史文化这一类的讲座。我印象最深刻的就是我们学院的赵长征老师所讲的“地域与国别文化”课。我喜欢赵老师讲解历史的风格，从古希腊神话到犹太教和基督教的历史，贯穿了西方人的思想，再来了解伊斯兰教历史，了解日本的历史。赵老师

讲出来都是津津有味，越讲让人越想听，哪怕是早上8点的课，也没人在课堂上打瞌睡。

北大的讲座实在太多了，去听讲座也要有选择性，不要盲目，朋友去就跟着去听，那样的话是毫无意义的，要按照自己喜欢的内容去听讲座。

通过参加讲座，我学到了很多历史知识：许多成语都出自于春秋、战国、宋、元、明、清……每一个成语都有自己一个典故，包括程门立雪、纸上谈兵、完璧归赵、围魏救赵、焚书坑儒、卧薪尝胆等。还有，学习历史要善于总结规律，如经济发展可以通过“石器—铜器—铁器”的变迁来记。

我至今仍然感谢邀我去听讲座的同学，同时也很遗憾自己错过了那么多好的讲座，我在北大还有一年，希望我可以在未来的一年里，听遍各种各样的讲座，不枉在北大学习一回。

我在北大听讲座

lake is not completely frozen, with only thin ice on its surface, the ice bearing signs of the gentle waves before its formation. With a slight mist in the air, the refraction of the light changes with the mist and wind when the cold wind blows, at which time one can see dimly the Boya Tower, marble boat and Mid-Lake Pavilion in the background. The entire picture is very poetic and idyllic, as if created by a single master artist. Weiming Lake at this time always makes me want to stop for a few minutes and thoroughly appreciate it.

Next to Weiming Lake stands an ancient tower, both exquisite and elegant in style and solemn in appearance. When I first came to Peking University, I was quite curious about how such a tower, usually found as part of a temple, appeared on the campus. Later I learned that it is the famous Tower of Erudition and Elegance built in imitation of Randeng Buddha Stupa in Tongzhou, Beijing. It was designed with great ingenuity, borrowing the style of dense-eaves tower in the Liao Dynasty. Boya Tower is the highest structure on Peking University campus, none of the new buildings built more recently surpassing it in height. Together with Weiming Lake, it has become the symbol of Peking University. Surrounded by pine and cypress trees, it adds more mystery and solemnity to the campus, with signs left by time telling of the many changes of the past.

As for the library, I prefer its serenity at night. Although the library is quiet both in the daytime and at night, I still think that in the daytime it is not as tranquil as at night. As night arrives,

the lights in the library seem brighter, and through the windows one can see students concentrating on revising their lessons. They work so hard under the bright light that it seems there is a shiny halo above each of their heads.

During the two years of my studies here, I have spent innumerable days and nights amongst the three beautiful scenic features. The library of Peking University is the best place for hard-working students to read books, and has witnessed the sweat of countless students. At the end of each semester, the library is fully occupied, with every reader busy reading books or staring at a computer screen, or writing or typing feverishly. Just because of their time spent here, the library has become one of the favorite places where students take graduation photos.

As a university with a history of more than 100 years, PKU still bears much charm and beauty, both in its beautiful scenery and in its profound culture. Many masters in their fields, including Mr Chen Duxiu, one of the leading figures of the New Culture Movement in the early 1900s, Mr Chen Yinke and Mr Wang Guowei, masters of Chinese culture and literature, Ms Bing Xin, a well-known writer, Mr Cai Yuanpei, an envoy between Western and Chinese cultural communication, and Mr. Wen Yiduo, a martyr of the Chinese revolution, have left their footprints here and, with their splendid works and great thoughts, continue to encourage the students of PKU to work hard, move forward and innovate.
