We all have a responsibility(责任)toward those around us and ourselves to ensure(确保)that we all remain(保持)saf e in the school environm ent (环境).

人人有责任确保自身及周围人等在校时始终处于安全环境之下。

●If(如果)you see anything that could be a danger(危险)to other people,report(报告,通告)it imm ediately(马上)to a member of staf f.

如发现任何可能使其他人遭遇危险的情况,应该立即向教职工汇报。

●Knives(刀)and other sharp items(利器) are not permitted(允许)in school.

不得携带刀和其它利器进入校园。

●Never willfully(故意地)m isuse(误用;滥用)equipment,or tamper(破坏)with things pro-vided for(为……作准备)safety purposes—such as fire extinguishers(灭火器).

不得滥用和毁坏消防器具——

—如灭火器。

In an EM ERGENCY(紧急情况)the alarm bell (警报器)will sound(响).This w ill be the continu-ous(连续的)ringing of the alarm bell.

紧急情况下将拉响警铃——

—长鸣示警。

If you hear the ALARM,f ollow the emergency code(条例):

听到警铃,请遵循紧急条例:

●Stop(停止)w hat you are doing and switch off(关掉)any equipment you are using.

停止手头一切事务,关闭所有正在使用的设备。

●C lose(关掉)anywindows that are near to you.

关上临近所有的窗户。

●Leave(离开)the building by the nearest (最近的)exit(出口).

从最近的出口离开大楼。

●Use any escape route(路线);no areas of the school are out of bounds(范围)in an EM ER-GENC Y.

使用一切通道逃生;紧急情况下学校所有区域均可通行。

●DO NOT run.不要奔跑。

●DO NOT waste(浪费)tim e collecting(收集)your possessions(个人物品).

不要因整理携带个人物品耽误时间。

●M ake your way quickly(快速地)and qui-etly to the assem bly(集合)point on the school playground(操场).

迅速安静地到达学校操场集中。

●Line up(排队)quietly and wait f or your teacher to take the register(点名).

安静地排好队,等待班级教师点名。

●Wait patiently(耐心地)until(直到)you receive(收到)f urther instructions(指示).

耐心等待进一步的指示。

If you are the first to notice(注意到)an E-M ERGENCY:

发现危险第一人应当:

1.Raise the ALARM e.g.sound the fire alarm, tell any member of staf f.拉响警报器,如火警报警器;向教职员报告。

2.M ake sure(确定)everyone near you is WARNED(被提醒;被通知).向周围一切人等示警。

3.M ake sure you are SAFE.确保自身安全。

4.Follow the EM ERGENCY code.谨遵紧急条例。
