1.can表示邀请的用法

—Can you come to our English party?

Can you...?是向对方发出邀请或请求时所用的句型,肯定回答用Yes,I'd_love_to,它是I would love to的缩略形式,等于I_would_like_to。否定回答用Sorry,but...,在表示拒绝时,口气应该委婉,先用“对不起”,然后用but引出要陈述的理由。

2.prepare的用法

1)他爸爸正在为会议做准备。

1.hang的用法

1)她把衣服挂在了晾衣绳上。

The_woman_hanged_herself_last_night.

Hang表示“悬挂”的意思时,是不规则动词,过去式和过去分词都是hung;表示“吊死,绞死”的意思时,是规则动词,过去式和过去分词均为hanged。

2.until的用法

1)我会一直工作到他叫我停下来为止。

I_will_keep_working_until_he_asks_me_to_stop.

2)她直到做完作业,才去睡觉。

She_didn't_go_to_bed_until_she_finished_homework.

3)我们要直到雨停了才回家。

We_won't_go_home_until_the_rain_stops.

until是中考英语试题中常考的词汇之一,它既可以用作介词,又可用作连词。作介词时,后面要接具体的名词;作连词用时,后面要接从句。

在until引导的时间状语从句中,如果句子(主句)的谓语动词是持续性动词(即动作可以延续一段时间的动词),那么这个句子(主句)常常用肯定式,表示动作一直延续到until 所表示的时间为止。这时until可译作“直到……为止”。在until引导的时间状语从句中,如果句子(主句)的谓语动词是短暂性动词(即动作一会儿就结束的动词),常常要用否定式,表示某一动作到until所表示的时间才发生。not...until...意为“直到……才……”。

until用作连词引导时间状语从句时,主句用将来时(或主句是祈使句时),until引导的时间状语从句要用一般现在时。

might意为“或许,可能”,主要有以下用法:

1)might表示请求允许。

但“Might I...?”比“May I...?”更客气,但是不如“May I...?”常用;might 表示说话人的推测,其把握性比may小;might用于委婉地提出建议、责备等。

2.invite的用法

1)谢谢你的邀请。Thanks_for_your_invitation.

2)我的老师上周邀请我去他家。

3)我的朋友经常邀请我去看电影。

My_friends_often_invite_me_to_go_to_the_movies.

invite意为“邀请”,是动词,其名词为invitation。作为动词经常用到的句型为:

1)邀请某人去某地invite_sb.to_sw.

2)邀请某人做某事invite_sb.to_do_sth.
