A:I read from one tourist information guide that, as you walk through Shanghai, you may feel as though you are entering a fair of world architecture or an art gallery of human civilization. Do you think the worlds are an exaggeration?

克林顿:Well, I feel much more grateful everyday, because I narrowly avoided the heart attack. So I enjoy everyday more, and feel more grateful for everyday. And I want to make use of whatever time I have left as well as I can.

克林顿:No.

杨澜:你有没有和家里人谈过呢?

克林顿:No.

克林顿:No. You know it could have happened. My father has died before I was born.

克林顿:My grandfather died when he was 57. My step father died when he was 58. So compared with them, I have already lived for quite a long time. When I was a child, I realized I couldn't live forever, so I never worried about it. I didn't worry about it when I was president. I have received an assassination threat, but you know I just did what I should do.

杨澜:你打算如何更好地利用你的时间呢?

克林顿:You know now I have finished my book. And I got homes in New York and Washington.

杨澜:您的债务现在已经还清了吗?

Clinton: Yes, I’m a very old fashion man, so the first thing I did was to pay off the bill.

Kobe: It is a kind of unbelievable feeling. I mean the first reaction that I have when walking into the stadium is “Wow, it is huge. You can see all the people, all the lights. When you walk along the tracks you see various countries. All the countries are applauding. Just congratulations of the Olympics. And you see the USA flags. They are waving the USA flags. Just cheering USA! USA! And I feel amazing because I have never heard it before. It is my first time of hearing it and it’s an unbelievable feeling.

杨澜:你觉得点火的仪式怎么样?有什么特殊的感受吗?

Kobe: It is incredible. In the ceremony we all wondered how the torch would be lighted. And we see him take off in the air and we just…

杨澜:(chuckling)场面很美吧?

Kobe: Yeah, it was wonderful and the screen showed all the torch bearers and carriers. It was marvelous.

杨澜:对你来说,哪一段有关中国的经历最美好?你知道吗,你的球衣在中国是NBA球衣中卖得最好的?

Kobe: I do know that. You know every time I come back, it’s always a great experience because they give me a warm welcome.

杨澜:你有什么故事可以告诉我们的吗?比如说跟中国球迷之间的一些有趣的事?

Kobe: Yes. When I came here last year, we stepped by a Nike store. And signed some shirts and shoes and gave them to fans. There were fans all the streets. And there was a fan across the street who was hanging to a pole. He wanted a signed ball, but there was no way to give him the ball. So I just signed on a ball and threw it across the street all the way to him. And he caught it with one hand. That was the most awesome catch that I have ever seen.

杨澜:接得好啊!那么打球对你来说,是个放松的过程吗?

Kobe: It’s peaceful.

杨澜:很平静?此话怎讲?

Kobe: Right, very peaceful. This is what I do best. So you know I am very glad to be interviewed but I am not good at it.. But when I play basketball, I feel this is what I was born to do. So it’s like a fish being in the water.

杨澜:那么你的动力是哪来的?

K obe: I don’t know. I just enjoy the game. That’s it.

Paige: Have you finished going through the contract?

Hubei is an abundant land full of luminaries. As the capital of Hubei Province, Wuhan really enjoys an unbroken history and a splendid culture. Of all the universities you have visited here, which do you love best? H: Honestly speaking, Hubei University has won my heart because this university has a very strong academic atmosphere and the students here are spectacularly conscientious and fastidious. It’s quite a sym bolic building that manifests a lot about the 1911 Revolution. Having visit this historic site, I really find that my admiration towards Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of China, has enormously strengthened. C: Wow, hoe knowledgeable you are! It’s really amazing that you know so much about the history of China. H: Thank you so much! To be quite honest, I’ve done a lot of preliminary work before my trip here.
