Learned from the last presentor, now we have known that WeChat business is a new E-Commerce model and serves as a platform for companies and individuals to run business.
So for business starters who want to start a business on WeChat, it is the first thing to know about the features of this type of business --For B2C Sales
1. One more opportunity to access potential customers
As you can see from the graph, the number of WeChat monthly active users keeps growing since it was released in XX and has reached 697 million by the end of XX, becoming the most used mobile application in Asia, as reported by Xinhua News Agency. Well, for businesses, this large number of users means a large possibility to reach out to more potential customers on WeChat.
2. An easier way for marketing
For businesses, WeChat is a new marketing platform
which provides them with an easy way to broadcast promotions and engage their followers. Usually, they do this by encouraging the potential followers to scan their QR code with gifts or discounts. Typical marketing strategies, like distributing lucky money, issuing e-coupons, offering incentives for sharing business information in WeChat Moments are popular ways for businesses to interact with customers and to maintain customer loyalty.
3. An effective O2O tool
For traditional businesses, such as hotels, whose products or services cannot be packed up and shipped to consumers, WeChat can serve as an effective online to offline tool to help them take advantage of the Internet. Another good example is, Zaocanjia -- a deliver to home breakfast service available through WeChat. The team make and deliver breakfast every morning to subscribers of its WeChat subscription account. By this way, the business can find and attract Net users and bring them offline through WeChat.

It’s much easier to open a storefront on WeChat, since you can simply start your business via your smart phone in just a few seconds, most importantly, it’s free of charge at present! So for people who don’t have much money but have plenty of time and want to earn some extra money, such as housewives, white-collar workers and college students like us. WeChat is the very platform we need.
2. Word of mouth
People on WeChat prefer to do business with friends, or friends of friends whom they can trust, since recommendation from a friend is much more trustworthy and appealing than TV commercials. Personally, I would like to buy products recommended by my friends or share good products with my real-life experiences. WeChat Business, however, is just based on this traditional means of “word of mouth”. So with the help of friend circle, WeChat shop owners or retailers can easily spread their business.
3. No inventory needed
One of the most popular form of individual businesses on WeChat is overseas purchasing. Unlike the buyer’s agents on Taobao, who claim they are selling western products, but usually aren’t, the overseas purchasers in friends circle are more reliable that you know they are physically abroad. They can help you get overseas products that are not available in China and make a business out of it. And the best part about doing this kind of business is that you don’t need to purchase inventory in advance. Customers pre-order and then you purchase for them. So there is no need for investment and inventory.
Given the above features and advantages, we should have good reasons to start a business on WeChat. However, some of you may still have different opinions as those college students do in this video that I cut from a campus news report.

1. Worrying Product Quality---Quality Control
People complain about the numerous advertisements in their friend circles and they are rarely willing to buy from a WeChat retailer. Their concern of quality is one of the biggest reason for holding them back. So WeChat sellers should have a strict quality control over the products they are selling. Anyway, they are selling not only products but also their own credibility. As long as they provide quality products and good service to their customers, their reputation will spread across the social network and their business is bound to soar.
2. Unethical Business Behaviors--Personal Conscience & integrated management
As it is exposed on some news, many WeChat retailers are found to sell fake, substandard or even harmful products in order to make quick money. What’s worse, some WeChat business owners even defraud consumers. As a result, trust issues occur. Although in response, China’s State Council has drawn up laws to regulate the development of e-commerce and hopefully, officials will enhance management on illegal activities to protect consumers' rights, the WeChat sellers’
business conscience is what makes things different.
It is understandable that WeChat business are facing problems as it is still in its infancy. But we should not lose faith in this new business model which is not likely to replace Taobao right now, but it will become a necessary supplement. The Previously, Taobao was the primary choice for barehanded private business owners to make a fortune. In XX, as Internet users were opting to go online with mobile devices rather than PCs, online shop owners on Taobao had quite a tough time as their shops’ traffic reached a halt. At the same time, however, WeChat Business to Analysys International, there are already over 10 million WeChat shop owners in China and the total sales volume on WeChat in XX registered 150 billion RMB.

The hotel chain 7-day Inn connects WeChat public account with its membership management system. In six months, it has attracted million members. It receives more than 5,000 reservations from WeChat, and more than 70 percent of them are second-time customers. SF Express' WeChat account allows customers to fill out addresses for packages to be delivered and place orders. It plans to start WeChat payment in June. 接下来我就从EF课程大概地说一遍，大家一起讨论下，互相学习哈，我说的不一定是对的，所以大家如果有问题，可以随时打断我，一起讨论。
从上的那些练习开始，那真的让我每天都守着练，因为我总在进到下一个单元时，总会惊喜地发现一些平时我要用到的句法，可以在这些单元里找到。所以经常一做下来就不知道停，就是根本停不下来的节奏，恨不得一次把所有的都做完。但是后面发现问题来了，我做到后面，前面的我就忘
了，语法啊，单词啊，都忘了。那怎么办呢，复习，做笔记。所以我现在稍微放慢了一点，最近在做复习review。之前也没有做笔记的习惯，现在做的练习，我都会做笔记。因为年纪大，老了，记性不好，只有记在笔记上，没事翻出来看看，温故而知新。还有一点就是上练习我一直是用纯英文的界面, 这样让我认识了更多的新单词，特别是有关语法的。
再就是每天的那个在线小组会话课，我基本是每天都会参加，除非没有络。我觉得这个才是很好的撬开嘴巴的机会，而且，我上课碰到的老师，基本都是很负责的，你不说非逼着你说几句，同时也会在在线小组会话课上做一些笔记。用来课后做review. 在线小组会话课的开始，老师会要求每个人进行一个简短的introduction about yourself. 我每天都参加在线小组会话课，所以每天都要做一遍自我介绍。
然后就是面授课了，这些课就更有趣了，billy的课很生动，上他的课很轻松快乐，wayne的课总是会在课上说一些美国文化，同
时对课上的一些知识点进行一些扩展的讨论，这样能学到更多的课程上书本上没有的知识点。我会在面授课上做一些录音，face to face和workshop的，每节课基本都有音频放出来给我们听的，这个时候我会做一些录音，用于课后review handout.碰到不会发音的单词，就把录音打开来听下，纠正发音。在面授课上，会有一些问题搞不明白的，当
时可能不知道有什么问题，在review的时候呢，有问题就把它记写下来，等到下次来中心的时候来当面问老师。老师非常欢迎我们问问题的。
接下来就是life club,这个也是我最爱的，我特别是做吃的时候，那肯定是有我在的。Life club的活动能更好的给我们提供对话的机会，并且在玩的过程，我们接触到更多的新单词，这样也更能加深我们对单词的理解和记忆。如果你也是个吃货，欢迎加入我们的队伍。不仅好玩，还有好吃的，还能练到口语。在这里我向EF提个建议，因为过年都吃好喝好，都长了此膘，所以今后的life club可以多安排些sport activity 来做，这个做运动中减下春节长的膘，还可以学到英文
那再来说一点对于EF课程以外，我做的一些学习吧，希望大家也提出宝贵的意见。我用微信关注了几个公众号，时不时也能从中学到些小知识，特别是oral English. 然后也加了几个英文交流的群，微信群和QQ群都有，包括EF的QQ群。我经常在群chat
他们，也会经常讨论一些有关english的问题点，一些表达式，没有结果的就会记下来，到中心问老师。在群里聊天可以大家一起分享各自的学习方法和一些学习工具，今天上午我在一个群里看到有一个朋友，他在玩一个软件就做我要配音，就是自己找个小电影，去跟着字幕配音，然后再上
传到上给别人看，我觉得这个很好玩。我自己也create了一个QQ群，不过那个群现在只有4个人，多的时候也只有七八个人，为什么没有人？因为在我那个群里要待下去不容易，进群的人必须坚持每天读10分钟以上的英语，只有一个人除外，就是有一位我们中心曾经的老师在群里，她当然不用读，不过她负责帮我们解答问题，ten minutes.没几个人能坚持，所以群里很少人在，但是有一个人做到了，是个女孩子，也是我们佛山中心的学员。在这里我要感谢一个那位老师，Darcy Li. 你们当中有人认识吗？以前我们中心的中教老师，也是我进来EF上课的第一位老师，是我最喜欢的中教老师，因为要结婚，回家了。她真的是为我解答了很多问题。非常地感谢她的耐心和付出！包括今天我的演讲，也是在她的帮助下完成的。她指导了我，要不然我两分钟就会词穷，没话说了。
那说回那10分钟的英语朗读，我都读些什么，我有蛮多英文书本，散文或小说，但是我并没有很多时间去看那些，我主要读的材料都是来自EF面授课的老师发的homework, 那些handout就是我们平时学的内容，熟悉，读起来容易上口，遇到不会读的，就停下来，搞清楚正确的发音再继续，这样能较正发音。

在社团的一年中我学到了不少东西，下面针对社团的现状及发展，谈谈我个人的看法。第一，我认为一个好的社团需要有一个核心精神，坚定、坚持、团结、创新、发展。坚定即要有坚定的信念；坚持即坚持不懈的精神，任何活动我

英语俱乐部是一个专业性较强的社团，所以活动范围较小，活动较难开展。对此我认为社团下一步发展规划有：第
一，通过组织晨读，英语原声电影放映等活动来提高同学们的语音，语调。第二，通过组织英语角，脱口秀等活动提高同学们的口语表达和交际能力。第三，通过各种创新活动形式来提高英语学习兴趣，激发热情，从而扩大影响力，提高参与度。第四，通过组织英语学习讲座等形式，提高同学们应试能力。
我一定会带领社团继续的奋斗，既然选择了就不会后悔更不会放弃，我会努力的做好。希望大家支持我，我会用我的行动来证明。谢谢。

2、活动目的
1）、帮助学生提高英语口语
水平在英语的交流中，同学们逐渐习惯用英语思维模式思考问题、进行对话，从而逐步提高学生的英语口语水平。
2）、能营造校园英语学习的氛围
英语角活动作为校园里一条亮丽的风景线，它的开展可以使学生逐渐养成使用英语交流的习惯，从而推动更多的学生加入到英语学习交流的队伍中去，营造出全校学生学英语的良好氛围。
3）、能激发学生对学习英语的热情
热情是学好一门课程的重要因素，然而由于课堂上种种因素的限制，同学们开口讲英语的机会少之又少，因此学生常常会抱怨“哑巴英语”式的课堂教授模式。英语角将英语课搬到室外，让学生暂别枯燥的课堂，在活动中拉近学生与英语的距离。通过安排一些同学喜闻乐见的活动，寓教于乐，让同学们逐渐在快乐的活动中“爱”上英语，在活动中激发学生学习英语的热情。
4）、能丰富学生的英语知识
课堂教学是专业、系统的，但45分钟的时间往往限制了教学的内容，因此要获取更多英语方面的知识还有赖于平时的英语交流和课外阅读，而英语角恰恰给了学生一个丰富课外知识的平台。英语角的随意性特点包含了人员随意性、话题随意性。因而在交流中，学生往往能从对方身上获取许多有关西方社会背景、文化差异、流行趋势等课外内容。
5）、能加强学生与老师、学生与学生间的互动
参加英语角不仅是学生的专利，也是老师丰富课余生活的方法之一。正所谓“教、学相长也。”老师与学生间的英
语沟通交流不仅能够提高英语口语能力，也能促进老师与学生间的互动与相互沟通。另外，开展英语角能够丰富课余生活，缓解学习压力，结交更多朋友，帮助自己打开人际关系，学会人与人的相处之道。

3）利用晚自习在得到各二级学院的允许下进班宣传；

The Indians were not unorganized hostile savages. The various tribes were often confederations or nations, and at first, the new settlers treated them as independent powers. But as European settlement gathered momentum, mistrust began to build. 6. It was not long before the newcomers outnumbered the native peoples (It has been estimated there were only about a million Amerindians in the continent north of what is now Mexico). 7. In the struggle between the French and the British for control of North America (1689— 1763), and in the later Revolutionary War (1775—1783) between the British and the Colonists, the Europeans tried to win the support of the Indians. 8. They became pawns in the white man’s struggle to control North America. Those who found themselves on the losing side suffered reprisal s by the victors. 9. By the end of the 18th century, the independence of the United States was established, and George Washington admonished Congress: We are more enlightene d and more powerful than the Indian nations. It behooves our honor to treat them with kindness and even gen-erosity. 10.But that’s not what happened. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 gave the president power to relocate all the Eastern Indian tribes west of the Mississippi on land the new Americans thought they would not need. 13. None were to be exempted even those tribes who had made an effort to learn the white man’s ways were forced to move. The Cherokees, for example, were settled farmers, had developed an alphabet, and even published a newspaper in their own language.

Concrete international / April 2009 59 By leo KAhl C oncrete contractors sometimes refuse to substitute industrial byproducts for a portion of the portland cement in a mixture over fears that they will increase construction times by retarding setting and strength gain. CeraTech, Inc., has developed a line of products that not only contain between 30 and 95% industrial waste stream materials but also speed up setting times and early strength gain. One of the products, Great-White TM , is specially formulated for use with volumetric, mobile concrete mixers. The use of a mobile mixer allows concrete to be placed almost immediately after mixing so workers have the full 20 to 30 minutes to place, consolidate, and finish the concrete before the material reaches initial set. Durable anD sustainable Minimizing the extraction of raw materials and extending the lives of existing structures are critical components of sustainability. Because of the flexible base chemistry used to make its cements, CeraTech is able to use locally available byproducts including fly ash, wood ash, crushed glass, and recycled concrete to produce its products. The raw materials used in its manufacture result in concrete that has a tan or brown color while fresh and that later fades to tan or gray. GreatWhite contains 88% byproducts, but allows the return of repaired or replaced areas, such as roads, bridges, runways, or parking garages, to service in as little as 2 to 3 hours. The product has also been shown to reduce alkali-silica reaction, in some cases allowing the Fast and Green Cement for rapid setting and strength-gaining applications is also environmentally friendly use of local aggregates rather than having to transport acceptable aggregates from great distances. The amount of water added to the concrete is mainly used to control workability. A proprietary activator solution is used to start the strength development process. CeraTech has also developed a modifier that works with the activator to accommodate a broad range of ambient and application temperatures. A minimum section thickness of 3 in. (75 mm) is suggested when 1 in. (25 mm) coarse aggregate is used. This can be reduced to 1.5 in. (38 mm) when using 1/2 in. (13 mm) coarse aggregate. Concrete containing GreatWhite is proportioned similar to that of portland cement-based concrete mixtures. By varying the cement content, strengths from 1400 to 4500 psi (9.6 to 31 MPa) can be achieved in 2 hours. This gives volumetric concrete producers the opportunity to provide solutions across a broad spectrum of applications, from sidewalk replacement for store fronts on Main Street to slab replacements for runways and freeways. A typical mixture containing the cement includes 1.5 to 2 parts fine aggregate and 2 to 3 parts 1 in. (25 mm) nominal maximum size coarse aggregate for each part of GreatWhite cement by weight. The water content varies depending on the application and the amount of early strength required. Mixtures with proportions similar to these produce compressive strengths around 2800 psi (19 MPa) in 2 hours and 9800 psi (68 MPa) at 28 days. Flexural strength also develops rapidly, with values typically over 350 psi (2.4 MPa) in 2 hours and 980 psi (6.8 MPa) at 28 days. These mixtures are also very
