高中英语阅读课案例分析报告

这是一篇典型的阅读类的课型,运用了Pre-、While-、Post-的教学模式。

这节课的教学目标有如下几点:一,复习并了解一些交通工具的词汇。二,在游览北京时如何选择交通工具。三,通过略读和查读等一系列阅读微技能的训练,提高学生从材料中捕捉信息和梳理信息的能力,同时提高语言表达能力。四,通过设置情境活动,锻炼学生运用信息的能力,从而提高其语言交际能力。五,通过对交通工具的学习认识和一个城市的文化历史,提升这节课的情感目标。六,最重要的一点是充分地以学生为主体,很大程度上发挥了学生的能动性与创作性,而且培养学生的团队合作精神。这样的教学目标符合英语课程标准的要求。

导入阶段,以问题的方式非常简洁又有效地引出了这节课的主题,“Getting Arounding in Beijing ”。通过问学生们日常活动,激发了学生的兴趣和求知欲。

Pre-reading阶段,让同学们先略读了一下文章,并布置任务:找出作者在文中写了北京的哪几种交通工具,把包含到的这几种交通工具一一展示在PPT 上并且着重解释了trolleybus和pedicab的含义,让学生们对这种工具有一些基本的认识,以此来熟悉这个话题,让学生对一些交通工具有一个概括的认识,清除阅读障碍,有助于理解课文。同时也一定程度上训练了学生们的阅读能力。

While-Reading阶段,让学生们仔细阅读课文,然后思考为什么作者要推荐这几种交通工具。然后以“taxi”为例,老师帮助同学们分析它的优点、问题以及作者给出的建议,培养其归纳总结能力,逐步提高其素质。老师在解决这些问题的时候同时也教会了学生们说明文体的逻辑结构和阅读的方法:找关键信息。然后开始以小组为单位分组讨论,找出其他几种交通工具的优缺点及建议。老师很好的让学生将刚学会的阅读方法学以致用,以此来提高学生从材料中提取信息的能力。并且老师让小组讨论也充分地体现了她以学生为主体的观点。而且阅读的层次也把握的不错,能够循序渐进地提高任务的难度来一步步的提高同学们的阅读水平。

Post-Reading阶段,一,让学生们针对文中作者没有给出建议的两个交通工具以小组讨论的方式提出自己的一些建议。这个过程非常地具有创新精神,充分调动了学生的能动性和阅读分析的能力。二,询问学生们他们觉得在北京什么样的出行方式最独特,让他们进行小组讨论,并随机抽选几人来表达他们的观点,最后得出结论,交通工具是我们的一部分,以此来引导他们发现交通工具背后蕴

含的历史文化意义。不仅培养了学生的创造性思维和团队合作意识,还进一步地提升了他们的历史文化意识。三,向同学们展示了一首关于重庆的诗“When Night Falls Upon”,并让同学们找出其中的三种交通方式,并再一次强调:交通工具是我们生活、历史和文化的一部分。并借助这首诗让学生用几天所学的知识(优点,问题以及建议)写一份推荐信给老师们向他们介绍重庆的几个名胜古迹,并让他们进行一次小组讨论,然后挑选出几个学生展示一下自己的作品,随即对他们进行点评。让学生们能够将当堂所学的知识运用到日常交际中,这是本课的重难点,老师处理的也很不错。并且老师也再次强调了文化意义,升华了本节课的情感目标。寓思想教育于阅读课教学中。

Summary阶段,用一首关于重庆的诗来概括了本节课的知识点,(交通工具,一个城市的历史文化意识),老师带领同学们共同朗诵了这首诗,最后也表达了对学生们的殷切期望。老师将课内外阅读巧妙的结合在了一起,拓宽学生们的知识面。

总体来说,夏恬老师给同学们上了一节非常生动有趣且非常具有文化内涵的课。但我认为有几点地方仍然需要注意:一,说话的语速较快,老师应该关注到每个学生的程度不一样,她应该照顾到英语程度不好的学生,多给他们一些反应的时间。二,以小组为单位一定程度上是提升了同学们的团队合作意识和能动性但是同时也应该给学生一些独立思考,独立完成任务的时间,这样可能对提升他们个人的阅读能力也会有帮助。三,老师在最后让学生们写推荐信时可以让他们写上推荐老师们乘坐什么样的交通工具,既锻炼了他们的写作能力,让他们的学的东西可以学以致用,同时也切合今天的主题,再一次让他们在课堂上复习了一边当堂所学的知识。

最后,我从这次的观课中也学到了不少的知识。身为一名教师,不能只教给学生课本上原有的知识,还要给他们拓展一些课堂外的知识。学生们在中国学习外语的机会不太多,能够接触到英语大部分都是在英语课堂上,所以英语老师必须担当起连接两种语言的媒介,我们不仅要向同学们普及外国的知识而且要用英语向同学们重新诠释中国的文化知识,不仅要教会知识并且要教会他们文化素养,这一点我觉得夏恬老师做得特别好。我也希望有朝一日我也可以成为一名合格的人名教师。

高中英语阅读能力的培养分析 摘要:在高中英语的学习过程中,学生的阅读能力起着关键性的作用。在阅读学习过程中会涉及词汇的学习、语法学习以及阅读习惯等等,主要从四方面分析了如何提高高中生的英语阅读能力。 关键词:高中英语;阅读能力;文化知识 高中英语的学习中阅读能力主要指的是对语言文化的学习、获取外部信息的学习以及提高语言实践能力的学习。从高中英语的学习大纲中分析,它明确要求要提高学生的阅读能力,为进一步的学习打下扎实的基础。从学生的成绩方面进行分析,在高中英语的考试中,阅读成绩占有很大的比重。在现阶段的高中英语学习过程中,主要是对语言形式的学习,很少涉及阅读技巧的学习。如今的高中生在阅读中存在很大的问题,主要表现为阅读速度慢、理解能力差等。在教学中教师要提出有针对性的策略,帮助学生提高英语阅读能力。 一、重视词汇学习和词汇积累 在阅读中阅读能力的高低和词汇量具有很大的关系。现阶段的高中生英语词汇量稀少,在阅读过程中都不能将句子正确地翻译出来,会曲解文章的主要含义。在学习词汇的过程中学生不应单纯地死记硬背,而要讲究记忆的方法技

巧。词汇中有很多合成词和派生词,在具体的学习中只要记住自由词汇的含义也就等于学会了更多的词汇。在英语中还有很多是由单词主体和前缀、后缀构成的,在学习过程中只要掌握了这些前后缀,就等于学习了更多的词汇。 二、掌握必要的语法知识 在现如今的高中英语阅读中,句子的结构比以前的结构更加复杂,并且变得越来越长,所以,在分析句子的过程中只有掌握了必须的语法知识才能将复杂的句子简单化,将长句子变为短句子。例如,在遇到长句子时,句子中有很多陌生的单词,这就要发挥语法知识的作用。在高中英语中我们会学习到八种时态,包括一般现在时,现在进行时,一般将来时,过去将来时等等。句子还包括简单句、复杂句。在复杂句子中还有主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句等等。要想把握句子的整体含义,就要将句子的各个部分都分析清楚。 三、联系必要的文化知识 学生在学习过程中除了要学习必要的理论知识外,还要了解必要的文化背景知识和生活常识。在高中英语的学习中,会涉及很多西方的背景知识,例如,西方的节日和西方的传统。在阅读中会出现Easterisland(复活岛)等专有名词,当然还有可能包括一些书籍名称,在了解之后学习会变得更加简单。 四、培养良好的阅读习惯

高中英语阅读课教学设计 唐灶兴 高中英语阅读课文具有题材广泛、体裁各样、语言知识丰富等特征,是各单元教学的核心部分,也是培养学生阅读能力的主要渠道。然而,传统的阅读课教学模式常常是单一的自下而上模式,教学方式只是把课文作为单纯向学生传授语法及语言知识的载体,忽视了培养学生的阅读速度和理解能力;传统的阅读理解提问方式也常常停留在对所阅读文章的表层理解层次上。那么,如何借助这些课文来提高学生的阅读速度、阅读理解能力和语言水平呢?经过教学实践和不断尝试,笔者发现:不同阅读活动阶段,必须采用不同阅读理解模式以求不同阅读教学目标的实现。下面以人教版高中英语为例: Book 1A Unit 7 "Earthquakes" 单元阅读课为例对这一问题进行探析。 一、First–reading 采用自上而下模式,侧重培养快速阅读理解能力 “自上而下的模式”是哥德曼(Goodman)1971年提出的阅读理论模式。这一理论反对把阅读看成是对一系列词句的知觉,认为阅读者不必使用全部文本中的提示,他们在文章中挑选和选择足够的信息来作出预测,用他们自己的经验和有关客观世界的知识去验证他们的预测。按这个模式,阅读者在阅读过程中不是逐字、逐句地去理解,

而是结合自己的预测,在文章中找出有关的信息,来验证自己的预测。该模式有利有弊,弊在对学生语言基础知识的掌握不利,容易造成学生语言基本功不扎实。然而,由于强调整体篇章理解,在阅读时采取跳跃式搜索、猜测等方法,所以有利于培养学生快速阅读理解能力。 阅读速度的培养是阅读教学中一个重要的任务。目前,中学生阅读能力在速度上与可能达到的指标相比普遍要低几倍,甚至十几倍。随着信息时代的到来,人们急需尽快获取各种信息资料,成倍提高工作效率与学习效果,培养学生的快速阅读理解能力是实施英语素质教育的必然要求。然而,训练学生阅读速度必须建立在学生对文章容处于陌生状态的基础上,因此,在学生初次接触阅读课文时,应该采用自上而下阅读模式,不失时机地培养他们的快速阅读习惯、快速阅读理解能力。这一阶段的教学设计主要如下: 1、引入题材。可采用设疑悬念、直观导入、故事导入等引入方式。 2、进行快阅。可向学生介绍组读法、察读法、浏读法、略读法、跳读法等快速阅读方法。 3、检测理解。可采用问答题、判断题、选择题、做笔记、填图表等检测形式。 附SEFC Book IA Lesson 26 & Lesson 27 阅读理解问答题: 1) Which was the USA's strongest earthquakes ? 2) How many people lost their lives and how many people lost theirhomes in the 1906 earthquake ?
