Paragraph1: In the Mesa Verde area of the ancient North American Southwest, living patterns changed in the thirteenth century, with large numbers of people moving into large communal dwellings called pueblos, often constructed at the edges of canyons, especially on the sides of cliffs. Abandoning small extended-family households to move into these large pueblos with dozens if not hundreds of other people was probably traumatic. 托福阅读十大黄金原则及做题思路篇 近段时间把我的一点点托福感想帖了出来，关于阅读的没有帖，因为时间不太够，现在补上。还是要说说的，我现在要说的一点点东西，是根据个人在新东方听课笔记整理的(主讲是Redrock)，难免有错误和不尽之处，如果对大家有一点帮助，我会感到很欣慰。 托福的阅读，可能会在考试时对我们造成一定麻烦，做阅读题，词汇是基础，占到70%到80%，但是托福的阅读是很有规律的，若再辅以一定技巧，则必可得高分。如果词汇基础很好(比如说背过gre)，读起托福阅读文章是享受的话，就不需要技巧了，只管去做题了。如果没有很强的词汇基础，可以看看。托福的阅读文章有五篇，共50道题，55分钟完成。题型共有如下几种，括号内是题目的数目： 1、主题题(3--4) 2、细节题(18--22) 3、词汇题(16--17) 4、推断题(3--6) 5、指代归纳题(3--6) 7、结构题 8、态度题 9、答问题 10、图形题。 第一部分、托福阅读十大黄金原则 一、列举： 1、列举名词 a，b，c，and d (逗号离得近算) 插入语例外 a，b，c，and d 中谁特殊选谁 2、列举 sentence 1，2为集中式列举 3、分散列举 二、举例子： G.S(概述)---Example ，问why 。。。。。。，mention 。。。。。。。，则答案在G。S 中找，且illustrate，give example 作为答案居多，examplification 举例说明两个或以上的例子，则找topic sentence 三、考数字： 1、数量级： hundreds of thousands of 至少 200，000; dozens of 至少 24; scores of 至少 40。。。。。。 2、年代： following(+1)， a couple(+2)，。。。。。。 +8 3、成串数字： 具体无用，只是说明大，广或者小，短，etc。往往在下段的开头找答案(在一区间内) (95。8。6指95年8月的第六题) 四、下定义：
