Tuition Fee Payment
If you are now staying overseas and cannot settle the tuition fee in Hong Kong, you can do so by sending us a bank draft in Hong Kong currency in favour of “The Hong Kong Polytechnic
Student Visa Application for Non-local Students
If you require a student visa to study in Hong Kong (see note below), you will be considered a non-local student. Please fill in the attached forms for student visa application and return them to us. When non-local students possess only visitor or tourist visas, we can neither register them as students nor allow them to commence study until a student visa is obtained.

Accommodation
Student residence in universities is in high demand in Hong Kong and, as such, our Student Halls of Residence is unable to meet the needs of all our students. While the University is exploring different means to expand the provision of hostel places for our students, our Student Affairs Office (SAO) has gathered some information on alternative accommodation in order to offer some help to taught postgraduate students in the interim. You may also contact SAO’s hotline at (852) 3159 0000 if you need further assistance on accommodation arrangements.
Given the central location of our University, students living off campus can still travel to the campus conveniently.
Note: If you are holding a valid work permit, you do not need a student visa to take a part-time programme in Hong Kong. If you are holding a dependant visa, you do not need a student visa to take a part-time or full-time programme.
To indicate your acceptance of this offer/conditional offer, please complete and then return this “Acceptance of Offer” form, together with the bank draft and visa application documents to PolyU by express post by the date stated in the Notice of Offer. Otherwise, your place will be offered to another applicant.
